The Last Day

Remus POV

I woke up entangled in Sirius a smile was etched on his face as I shook him awake. "Yes?" He asked his eyes shooting open scaring me half to death.

"You arse, how long have you been awake?" I asked sitting up.

"Oh, don't be like that, I've been up since five this morning," he said rubbing my thigh he sat up and kissed my cheek lightly.

"Let's go to breakfast we'll have a bit after that of alone time or just time to hang out," I said he nodded and got up, I looked to see James asleep and Lily gone I smirked at Sirius and he nodded his agreement. I took a pillow that was really hard for some reason and chucked it at James hitting him square in the face.

"What was that for? Where's Lily?" He asked rubbing his head.

"She might've left for breakfast early so she had more time to get ready, you only graduate from the best school once," Sirius replied chuckling as he pulled on his pants I chuckled and pulled a shirt on along with my shoes. James got dressed and we left for breakfast I ate fast since I didn't see Lily in the Great Hall and I wanted to help her get ready.

"I'm going find Lily," I said before leaving the Hall I walked to the tower and saw Lily panicking on the couch.

"Remus, thank god you're here," she said frantically as she rushed over to me.

"What's wrong?" I asked she looked at me horror in her eyes.

"I don't know how to do my makeup today," she said breathlessly.

"Oh, no, no, we can't have that go get your makeup I'm helping you," I said she nodded and went up to the girls dormitory James and Sirius come back a minute after she went up to her dorm and a minute later she came down levitating all her makeup behind her.

"Ok, I have everything but I don't know how to do it," she said I nodded and sat her down on a stool and I sat in the other one.

"Right, well, your dress is red and gold with sparkles on the gold so I think we are going to go with some red eyeshadow with gold sparkly edgings with a matte red lipstick," I said she nodded and I grabbed her makeup getting everything I needed out I put the red eyeshadow with the gold on first while James and Sirius watched in amazement. I then contoured her face making sure she'd be the prettiest one there, I put the lipstick on her lips along with eyeliner on her eyes and she put the mascara on herself, in fear I'd poke her in the eye with it.

I accioed her brush down and did her hair into a braided bun when that was finished I turned her around. "Wow, Remus, you did good," James said breathlessly.

"I know me and Lily were close before you two were with her I kinda went to her about my wardrobe troubles in fourth year," I said they nodded and lily jumped up.

"Well, I'm going out on my dress you three get ready it starts at ten thirty and it's ten twenty," she said we nodded and went to our respected dorm and changed into our robes. Sirius changed into a black robe with red trimmings and James had the same except with purple trimmings and I had on my white and gold robes signaling I was the speaker.

"You look stunning, babe," Sirius said shaking his arm around my waist I smiled and pecked his lips lightly.

"As do you," I said he smiled and released me walking over to his trunk. "What are you doing?"

"Just grabbing something let's go," he said said putting something in his pocket I shook it off and we walked down the stairs me and Sirius in front of James since Lily was waiting in the common room for us. When we reached the bottom of the stairs we moved out of the way so James could see Lily, he was beyond speechless he froze as he stared at her his mouth open slightly.

"Well, let's go we'll be late," she said in a rushed tone we nodded and left the tower James still goggling at Lily as we walked to the Great Hall.

"Lily, you look gorgeous," he said when we reached the oak doors.

"Thank you, of course, I knew this already," she said as we entered the Hall everyone stopped and stared at her.

"Now we may began, firstly all of you look fantastic, secondly I'd like to congratulate everyone graduating today you went through seven years of torture to learn all types of magic and you were taught at the best school, may your children be welcomed to this school," Dumbledore said there was applause but he wasn't finished. "Now, Remus Lupin May come up here and speak." I walked up to the place where the Head tables were positioned through the year but were cleared out for today.

"Wow, umm, firstly this school was the best and if it weren't for Albus Dumbledore I wouldn't be standing up here today. He came to my home when I was ten and played with me, not in a sexual way, we had a sorta play date alright not talking about that anymore, anyway if he hadn't come to my home I wouldn't have been here because of my lycanthropy (is that what it's called) as some of you may know, I'm a werewolf. I disappear to the Shrieking Shack every month so I don't hurt people, I wasn't accepted at any other school because of it but Dumbledore saw how much of a burden it caused me and accepted me. This school is the best because people are accepted no matter what they are or who they like, not all werewolves are bad but there is one for you to watch out for, I'm not trying to scare anyone, his name his Fenrir Greyback he's the one that turned me because him and my Father got into a yelling match he likes little kids. I'd like to thank al the teachers at this school, especially Albus Dumbledore, for all they've done and for putting up with me, James, Sirius, and Peter." I concluded everyone clapped as they stood I went to walk off but Dumbledore grabbed my arm I turned around confused.

"Beautiful speech had a few tears come to my eyes, but there's a special announcement I'd like Sirius Black to come up here to give," he said Sirius stood and walked up as Dumbledore walked down.

"What are you doing?" I asked confused as he got closer to me.

"You'll see, love," he said he looked nervous which wasn't his usual.

"I'm scared," I said unaware of how I was supposed to act right now.

"It's ok, umm, hello I'd like to ask my boyfriend a question, though we've been together six months I realize now will be a great time to ask this with the war waging on there's no time for special moments without being watched so," he paused turning to me as he fumbled in his robes he pulled out a box and got on one knee, "Remus John Lupin, will you marry me?"

"What the hell?" I asked excitement coursing through my veins as everyone gasped their surprise he looked scared so I spoke quickly. "You didn't have to ask, I mean you already got me a ring."

"So is that a yes?" He asked I chuckled and nodded.

"It's a hell yes," I said he chuckled and stood trying to quickly put the ring on my finger he kissed me passionately and I felt him smile into it I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck.

Sirius POV

When I pulled away from the kiss everyone was either clapping, crying tears of joy, Lily was the only one crying, or yelling insults at us. "Congrats mate," James said patting me on the back.

"Oh, Sirius that was beautiful," Lily said through tears we chuckled and I hugged her Remus was still admiring the new diamond ring on his finger.

"We better go or we'll miss the train," I said they nodded and we walked off me having to drag Remus because he was still admiring the ring. We boarded the train and watched as Hogsmeade station left our view.

A/N Guys I might have a potential boyfriend, I'm talking to someone and I'm hoping to god that he decides to make it official sometime.
