The Beat Down

Sirius' POV 

Last night was tiring, Remus was on my side just muttering how he was gonna kill Guy for what he did it took a lot of hair pets and rubbing his arm for him to calm down and go to sleep. Surprisingly, he was up before me and just staring at me I smiled before he got up abruptly and put on his clothes, "What are you doing?" I asked staring at him blankly since it was early on a Sunday.

"Putting on some clothes," he said simply pulling on one of my lacy black shirts,

"No shit, but why? It's Sunday and it's eight o'clock," I asked he stopped in the middle of putting on his shoes and looked up at me.

"Yes, I know, I just wanna get there early enough to catch Guy and talk to him, it's one thing to mess with me, but my Sirius? He's asking for me to smash his face in." he said I was silent for awhile after what he said.

"D-did you just say 'my?'" I asked stupidly he chuckled and nodded,

"Yes, I did, you're mine and if anyone touches you in anyway that I'm supposed to they're getting their face smashed in," he said standing up, "Well, I'm off to breakfast see you there." and he was off I groaned and laid back down this wouldn't end well, I woke James up to his horror.

"What Sirius?!" he half-yelled looking at me his face contorted,

"It's Remus, he woke up in a good mood and started talking about bashing Guys face in." I said urgently he rolled his eyes.

"Good, he deserves it for what he did to you." he said rolling over after what I told Remus about what Guy did to me he made me tell James and Lily I groaned and went to the common room hoping there was a seventh year girl in there, to my luck there was it was Lilys friend Samantha.

"Hey, Sirius, what's wrong?" she asked noticing my disheveled and pajamas.

"I need Lily, James wont get up and Remus is mad." I said simply she understood since she was the victim of Remus getting mad at her for a stupid reason she shot upstairs and ran back down with Lily she was in a pair of black jeans a pink jumper and her hair was in a messy bun, she didn't have shoes on just socks like me.

"Let's go, for all we know he can already be bashing in his face." she said I nodded and we ran out of the portrait hole we were sliding around on the stone floors since we didn't have on shoes when we reached the Great Hall we caught our breath and walked in Remus was standing by the Gryffindor table and Guy was feet apart from him.

"So, I heard you like touching my boyfriend." he said in a monotone voice that wasn't Remus at all, "Hmm, let's see, let's see, where's your girlfriend? How would you like it if I touched her the way I touched him?"

"I don't have one, see, I only have eyes for touching Sirius," he said an evil grin on his face McGonagall was watching along with all the teachers and Dumbledore no one was willing to stop this unless it got bad and it did this was enough for Remus to punch him, he continued this everyone was in shock at this sudden behavior.

"Remus, stop! Please!" I yelled I tried pulling them apart but it didn't work he continued punching him never looking up everyone stared at me and Lily since we only had socks on and I had pajamas on I fell in a heap crying with my head in my hands.

"Stupefy!" Lily yelled Remus fell to the side in a stiff heap Guy was laying on the ground bloody and bruised I ran towards Remus and continued crying I heard rushed footsteps and looked up the teachers were running towards us and soon Guy was on a splint being rushed to the hospital wing when he was out of sight Dumbledore preformed the counter curse on Remus and I hugged him miserably my favorite shirt was covered in blood but I didn't care.

"Remus, Sirius, come on up to my office I'll have Slughorn bring you a calming potion up so you don't have to got to the hospital wing," Dumbledore said calmly his blue eyes twinkling behind his half-moon spectacles.

"Yes, sir," I said I stood up the tears followed silently and I helped Remus up,

"I'm so sorry, Sirius, I was just so mad and it - I'm sorry," he said sadly I smiled weakly and grabbed his hand we walked to Dumbledores office and walked in I sat in one chair and he sat in he other a few seconds later Slughorn walked in and gave me a potion I took it and calmed down a few seconds later I looked up and Remus cleaned off his, well, my shirt Dumbledore sat there calmly looking at his desk. 

"So, Remus, I understand you hit a student in the Great Hall this morning?" he asked looking at Remus.

"Yes, sir," Remus said tearfully,

"And why, may I ask, did you do that?" he asked still looking at him.

"He raped Sirius, sir, he tried to do it again yesterday morning," he said truthfully,

"I see, he did this when they were both supposed to be in Hogsmeade?" he asked,

"Actually, sir, if I may speak, I wan't in Hogsmeade because I was mad at Remus, I was about to leave and go, however, when Guy entered the bathroom," I spoke up they both looked at me and Dumbledore nodded.

"Well, we have no further evidence of this so when Guy is healed and out of the hospital wing we will talk with all three of you and I will decide the punishments," he said I nodded and stood up, "Actually, Sirius, I'd like to speak with you Remus you may leave." he added Remus got up and left I sat back down and looked at the ground.

"What was it you wanted to talk about, sir?" I asked still looking at the ground.

"I understand you are very protective of Remus and the same goes for him with you?" he asked I nodded and looked up.

"You're very correct, sir, however, we're just friends," I said not wanting to get into the topic of me and him being together.

"Ah, you see, I, the Headmaster, notice everything and I saw today that he was wearing your favorite shirt, something you wouldn't let even your closest companions do." he said I sighed and looked at him.

"May I go now? Remus will be waiting for me," I said standing up to leave he nodded and I walked out and down the spiral staircase I saw Remus pacing and when he noticed me he jumped in my arms I chuckled and hugged him tightly.

"I'm sorry, Sirius," he said urgently wrapping his arms around my waist tighter,

"I know, I would've done the same for you," I said he looked down and kissed me I kissed back and he pulled away chuckling,

"You've been sucking the Sugar Quills haven't you?" he asked still chuckling I smiled and nodded.

"I got scared this morning waiting for Lily to come down and go get you in the Great Hall," I said he chuckled and grabbed my hand we walked back to the tower to very many anxious faces awaiting us and our story of what happened that morning since almost everyone except the first years were sleeping in late.
