Christmas Break

Remus' POV

The end of my suspension ended up being on the day of the end of term, Guy ended up not being able to go home for Christmas because of his suspension. Sirius was coming over and James and Lily would be stopping by later, I was currently freaking out trying to straighten up my room when my mom called me downstairs my hair was a mess, I was in pajamas. My freaking out only got worse when I walked downstairs to see Sirius with nice clothes on his hair braided, I smiled at both him and my mom, "Look at him, he looks so nice," my mother said Sirius chuckled and looked at me a slight pink tint on his cheeks.

"Yes, Mother, very nice," I said chuckling,

"And what are you wearing, Remus?" Sirius asked chuckling I rolled my eyes and turned to Mother.

"James and Lily said they'd be stopping by later, something about they wanted to talk," I said Mother nodded but before she could speak Sirius hugged me I was shocked at first but hugged him back nevertheless.

"I missed you," he whispered wrapping his arms around my neck as I wrapped my arms around his waist,

"I missed you, as well," I whispered back I kissed his neck slightly and pulled back he was rubbing the spot I had kissed and Mother was simply beaming.

"Right, will you be staying for dinner then?" Mother asked Sirius his smile faltered and he looked down,

"I was thinking maybe I can stay for the night?" he asked Mother was beaming as if she just won a new broom,

"That'd be lovely, wouldn't that be great Remus?" she asked looking at me I smiled and looked at Sirius.

"Yes, it'd be great," I said she smiled and looked between us,

"Lovely, I'll start dinner," she said turning around and walking off I turned to Sirius who was smiling.

"What are you thinking?" I asked his smile faded and he looked down,

"I thought you'd like me to stay for the night," he said softly,

"I do, babe, it's just, I'm not exactly out to them, I mean what if they walk in on us kissing or cuddling? Or what if they walk in on us doing something worse than that?" I asked he looked up and walked closer towards me.

"Hey, it'll be fine, you can come out to them tonight I'm sure it'd be fine just ask them what they think of LGBTQ+ and if they say good things tell them if not then say nothing, it's what I did with the Potters." he said rubbing my arm I nodded and motioned towards the stairs,

"Wanna go up to my room? It's not exactly clean but I was working on that when you arrived," I asked he nodded and lead the way up the stairs, "You know, you never told me what you were, are you gay, pan, bi, what?"

"I'm bi, I still like girls but now that I have you I won't be like I was with the girls," he said I smiled and kissed his cheek. We talked and laughed for a bit until a little pop sounded in the corner when we were playing a muggle bored game that my Mother brought with here when she married Father, I looked to the side to see James and Lily standing there Lily's hair was in a messy bun and James hair was still as messy as ever.

"Hello," Lily said politely sitting next to us James did the same and sat across from Lily, "Oh, I love this game, me and my sister used to play it all the time." she added her voice was sad and it broke at the last words.

"Wanna play with us? You might have to go in like thirty minutes or when Mother calls us for dinner or I can ask her if you can stay for dinner?" I asked Lily shook her head,

"We can play with you but we already promised James' parents we'd be home for dinner," Lily said I nodded, James rolled his eyes and Sirius went to take his hair down, "No, leave your hair braided it's beautiful that way."
