The Announcment

*2 years later*

Sirius POV

It was September and me and Remus would be married in a few weeks. I woke up that morning Remus in my arms, we lived with his parents since no one wanted to hire us, he yawned as he stirred. "Morning, baby," I said as he opened his eyes he smiled and kissed me lightly before stretching.

"Lets go down for some breakfast and you can owl Dumbledore about us teaching there," I said he smiled and nodded there was a light tapping on the window I went over and saw James' owl.

"Why's Prongs owling is this early?" Remus asked as the owl sat on the desk a letter in its beak.

"I don't know," I said taking the letter I unfolded it and read it.

Remus and Sirius

James is sleeping so I'm using his owl. Anyway,  can you come over for biscuits and tea later?

I smiled and looked at Remus, "Lily wants us to come over later," I said he nodded and wrote a letter sending it off with his owl.

"Dumbledore," he said noticing my confusion I nodded and we went downstairs. We ate pancakes and bacon and went for a walk until twelve and we went to Godrics Hollow where James and Lily now lived. Remus knocked on the door and Lily answered she let us in and Peter was in one of the chairs in the living room.

"Hey, hows work?" I asked lily shushed me as James came in the living room.

"Hey, guys, I don't know what's up with Lily just out of the blue she wants you over for tea when you could stop by any time," James said we chuckled as Lily urged James to sit down when he was on the couch she smiled wide and started bouncing her knees.

"What's up Lily?" I asked chuckling slightly from her mood.

"I have some big news," she said before there was a pounding on the door we all got up wands drawn and walked to the door. Lily opened it and the smiling faces of Tonks, Molly, and Arthur were at the door we put our wands down and ushered them inside, we didn't have to check if it was really them because Peter was the secret keeper so it wouldn't be tortured out of them.

"Hello, thought we'd stop by," Molly said in her sweet voice we smiled and walked back to the living room.

"Now, what were you going to say?" Remus asked Lily beamed and sat down her knees still bouncing.

"I'm pregnant!" She said happily our jaws dropped at this and she started looking nervous.

"You mean I'm going to be a father?" James asked happily she beamed and nodded.

"We're going to be the best uncles," Remus said squeezing my hand I chuckled and kissed his cheek.

"Oh and I can morph my face when he cries to make him happy," Tonks said and we looked at her confused.

"How do you know if it's a boy? And plus that'll scare it more," I said she chuckled and morphed her face into a duck.

"I borrowed a time-turner from the ministry," she said simply when she morphed her face back.

"That's illegal!" Remus exclaimed jumping up.

"Honey, the clothes you wear are illegal," she retorted Remus rolled his eyes and sat on my lap.

"Right how about some tea?" Lily asked picking up the kettle and pouring seven mugs of tea she passed them around and we drank it.

"So how's living with the parents again?" James asked chuckling I rolled my eyes and rubbed Remus' arm.

"Fantastic I owled Dumbledore about getting a job at Hogwarts," Remus said they nodded as they sipped their tea. That afternoon consisted of talking, laughing and drinking tea me and Remus stayed over for dinner and everyone else left it was that night that Remus was owled back about the teaching position.

Remus POV

As we ate dinner at Lily and James' there was a tapping on the kitchen window we looked and saw my owl a letter in his beak.

Remus and Sirius,

It just so happens I have a position open for Defense and Muggle Studies I hope you have some lessons in mind because on September first you will be back at Hogwarts.

Dumbledore,

I beamed at the letter and looked up at them. "We've got the job!" I exclaimed Sirius jumped up and hugged me I hugged him back and kissed his neck making him shiver.

"Do you have a spare room we could stay in tonight?" Sirius asked James smirked and Lily smiled.

"We do you can use it tonight but it'll be turned into the nursery," Lily said we nodded and continued eating after we ate we said our good nights and went to the spare room they had a bed in there for when we wanted to stay. We laid down and I cuddled to Sirius.

"Hey, do you wanna have kids?" he asked looking up at me.

"Some day," I replied he nodded and kissed me softly.

"Would we still name our kid Regulus Lyall Lupin-Black?" He asked again I smiled and nodded kissing his nose.

"And if it's a girl we could name her Hope Walburga Lupin-Black?" I asked he nodded and cuddled into me I smiled and kissed his forehead.

"Yes, even though my Mother was horrible to me she was still family and even though I didn't want to I knew I still loved her and hoped she'd quite the beatings," Sirius said I squeezed him a bit and kissed him lightly.

"I love you, Sirius Lupin," I said smiling he chuckled and kissed my nose.

"I love you too, Remus Black," he said I chuckled and fell asleep curled around him.

A/N It's sad when you realize Lily and James were only 20 when they had Harry and possibly only 20 or 21 when they were murdered. Also like 2 more till the last chapter.
