The Ball

Remus POV

I woke up to Sirius nuzzled in my neck snoring softly. I chuckled and played with his hair occasionally planting a kiss on his head. "Wake up, Star," I said softly he didn't move but the snoring ceased.

"Mmf," he mumbled I chuckled and stroked his hair more, I looked over out of the hangings and saw James having the same trouble with Lily.

"Hey, Siri, you know I'm actually thinking of taking Frank, he seems a better choice," I said smirking as he shot up I laughed and he threw a pillow at me.

"That's not funny," he said rubbing his face I chuckled and sat up next to him we looked over and saw James got Lily up without her having a fit.

"Do I spot a scandal?" I asked loudly making Lily and James look over at us Sirius chuckled at their behavior.

"Shut it, Remus, cause last time I checked you're supposed to be in your own bed not someone else's," Lily said walking out of the dorm James chuckled and got up.

"Something she is, might as well not have a fuss about school since classes are shortened for the ball." James said pulling on a shirt and some jeans, me and Sirius did the same and pulled on our shoes after we had on our robes we walked down to the Great Hall leaving James to wait for Lily. After we ate we went to Transfiguration with James and Lily, McGonagall just let us take notes on the board as she walked around making sure we did our work. After that we went to Care of Magical Creatures, we took notes on Threstrals and answered review questions for the quiz that was coming up.

After that was Double Potions which was quite eventful. "No, Sirius, you don't add that yet," I said as he tried adding frog spawn to the potion.

"I believe we do," he argued I groaned and put my head in my hands.

"The board says you add it after the five clockwise stirs," I said he looked at the board and back at me.

"Then why have you stopped stirring?!" He shrieked.

"Because you're trying to do it wrong!" I groaned stirring the steaming cauldron again after I stirred it five times clockwise I stopped and looked at him.

"Oh, add it right," he said I chuckled as he added the frog spawn, before we could stir it again it exploded somehow melting the cauldron.

"Boys, what did you do?" Professor Slughorn asked frantically rushing over.

"I don't know I stirred and he added the spawn when I finished and it just...poof," I said frantically making Sirius chuckle.

"Very well, you'll write a paragraph on this potion and why it could've exploded, class dismissed," he said we grabbed our stuff and left we went to the tower being that was our last class of the day.

"Wanna shower?" Sirius asked as we plopped onto his bed that now became ours since I didn't use mine.

"Yeah, what are you wearing tonight?" I asked as we walked towards the bathroom.

"You'll see," he said as we walked into the bathroom.

Sirius POV

After me and Remus showered we waited till it was around six to get dressed Dumbledore didn't say anything about dress robes so I was going to wear a silk red button up with my leather black jeans and my leather jacket with a pair of converse. I tied my hair in a bun with a little flower crown, we were going to meet each other in the Entrance Hall so I walked down and a few minutes later Remus walked down.

"Hi," he said breathlessly he was wearing my pink leather jacket, that he stole from me, over a blue button up, black skinny jeans with rips in them, and white converse. When I got to his face is when I noticed something was off, the scars that were slashed across his face weren't there, leaving him odd looking.
