I excused myself from everybody else and walked outside to call my mom.
"Hey mom are you able to talk right now?"
"Yeah. Talk."
"My friend Liam got kicked out because he's straight and he has nowhere to go. Could he crash at our place for a while?"
"Yes. I have to go now."
I heard a giggle in the background.
"Alright bye." And then she hung up. I shrugged and went back upstairs.
"You can stay for a while." I smiled at Liam.
"Thank you so much." He sighed.
"Eh it's no problem."
Later that night I said goodbye to everyone, Liam and I headed home. When we arrived at our house I told him he could sleep on the couch in my rooms and I have him a tour of the rest of the house. Later that night my mom came home with Ali.
"This is Liam" I introduced everyone.
"This is Ali, my fiancé." My mom snickered.
Fiancé?
Fiancé?
"When did you guys decide to get married?" I asked sharply.
"Ali proposed tonight" my mom leaned over and kissed Ali.
"Alright" I muttered.
My mom must have been drunk to say yes, Ali is attractive and all but my mom is strictly hetero. She never once mentioned the word bisexual.
"Well goodnight" I said, leading Liam upstairs.
He got comfortable on the couch and I was about to fall asleep when he asked me a question.
"Do you not like Ali?" he asked.
"No I do, but they haven't been dating for longer than a week! it's really suspicious, they barely know each other." I groaned.
"Oh shit. Maybe Ali is secretly hetero."
"Maybe" I sighed.
