A cry. An ear-piercing cry was heard from the alleyway. Natalya Zima was walking past said alleyway when she heard the wail. Zima walked into the alley cautiously, looking over shoulder. When she turned to face the alley, her eyes widened at the sight before her. Two bodies, probably a man and a woman, lay before her with bullet wounds in their chest and blood spilling from beneath them. Thinking everyone in the grimy lane was dead, Natalya turned to leave when she heard another heart-wrenching scream. She spun back around and followed the continuous cries to behind a garbage bin, where she found a baby bundled in blood stained blankets and bawling loudly. Nat didn't know what to do. How could she leave that pint-sized infant in an alleyway in the pitch black of night. But at the same time, she doubted Ezra would be happy if she showed up with a child. Lost in thought, Nat didn't notice the man at the opposite side of the alley nor did the man notice her. He had a gun. So Natalya grabbed the bundle and ran silently trying to get away with out being noticed. Somehow, she escaped on her motorbike with the baby in her arms. She drove off to her home. Khela Headquarters.
