*Vanessa's POV*
"So um my sister is um getting married next week. Would you in maybe be my date to the wedding? If you want to you don't have to if it's not too soon it-' Liam asked nervously. I cut him off.
"Liam, I would love to go with you to your sister’s wedding" I attacked him with a giant hug. I pulled away and had a hesitant look on my face. "What's wrong?" Liam asked me concerned.
"I can't go" I bit my lip nervously. Disappointment washed over Liam's face.
"Why not?"
"I have nothing to where and I'm broke." Liam chuckled.
"Don't worry love; I’ve already got that covered. Tomorrow were going dress shopping."
"I can't let you buy me a dress...." I trailed off.
"Did you really think I was going to invite you to this and not buy you a dress? It's the least I could do for you babe." I kissed him passionately to show how thankful I was for this. I seriously have the best boyfriend ever, right?
The next morning Liam picked me up and we headed off to a go pick out a dress for the wedding. We pulled up at a really fancy expensive looking dress store. No way in hell was a letting Liam spend a fortune on a dress for me. "Liam lets go to a cheaper store, please?" I said as we walked into the store.
"No it's fine here. Let's pick out a dress. Something purple? I think purple suits you best." he eyed a strapless, short, V-neck, purple dress. He held it up "This one?" I shook my head. "I'm not going to Dress like a slut at a wedding."
A lady walked up to us and asked us if we needed her assistance. We asked her to help us find some nice purple dresses suitable for a wedding. We picked out three dresses and the lady also agreed purple suited me best. Light purple to be exact.
I walked into the change room and tried on the fist dress. It was a tighter fitting dress. It had a strap on one shoulder and the other shoulder was strapless. It came about mid thigh on me. I walked out and showed Liam the dress.
"It looks great love, you like it?" I shook my head.
"I'll try on the other ones." the store worker lady agreed with me that this dress wasn't the one.
This dress was strapless and flowery. It was long and just about reached the ground. I definitely liked this dress but it had a zipper in the back and I couldn't fully do it up. "Liam come help me with the zipper!" I shouted out to him. He opened the change room door and came in. Instead of zipping it up he unzipped it even more. "Liam!" I screeched and hit him. He laughed and zipped it fully. This definitely looked better than the first one. I really liked it, but I think the last dress we picked out would be perfect. I hoped it lived up to my expectations. I slipped out of the dress I was currently wearing and picked up the final dress, saving the best for last. I put it on and walked out the change room to get the opinions of Liam and the store lady.
Liam looked at me wide eyed and his jaw nearly dropped to the ground. I'll take that as he likes the dress? "Close your mouth, you’re going to catch flies babe"
"stunning! Absolutely stunning!" the store lady said.
"So this is the dress?" they both nodded quickly.
I walked back into the change room and admired the dress. I have to admit, I did look quite nice.
Liam paid for the dress and we left and went to grab a quick bite to eat. I probably thanked Liam for the dress about a billion times.

*the day of the wedding*
I added the finishing touches to my makeup. I was wearing a dark brown Smokey eye that made my eyes pop. I did my signature winged eyeliner but with a more suddle wing. I wore a peach blush that complimented my pale complexion. I stuck with a neutral pink lipstick and the same color of lip gloss over top. As for my hair, I curled it into loose curls that looked great. I slid on my silver heals that matched great with my dress. I grabbed my silver clutch and put my phone and some makeup to touch up in it.
