Vanessa’s POV
“Liam and I have become inseparable” I said into my phone.
“So are you guys official yet?” he asked me.
“Not yet, but I’m hoping that will change tonight.”
“If he doesn’t just ask you to be his girlfriend soon I’m going to have to have a talk with him. Just dating isn’t good enough”
I laughed at my little Irish best friend. Even though Niall and I don’t see each other in person,
I still consider him my best friend. He is more of a best friend to me than Matt ever was. Niall’s always got my back and it’s always nice to have someone who will be there for you no matter what.
“Speaking of Liam, he should be here soon” I bit my lip nervously. I don’t know why I was so nervous, but every minute I spend with Liam those butterflies in my stomach just don’t settle down.
“Call me when you get home and stop being so nervous”
“I will. Love you Niall, bye”
Not even a second later there was a knock at the door. I quickly grabbed my small purse and went to open the door.
“You ready?” Liam asked me. I nodded and held out my hand. He intertwined our fingers without hesitation.
“I see you’ve neglected to tell me where were going as usual?”
“I was thinking on going for a walk.” Liam suggested
“Because me and exercise go so great together” I said sarcastically
“Suck it up princess” Liam joked
“Liam you’ve never told me why you and your family have British accents”
“My dad moved to America when I was younger and I only use to get to visit him once a year. Then my mom and step-dad went on Vacation to America and loved it. They decided we needed a change so we moved from Wolverhampton to here and I guess I just never lost my British accent. I like it though; it’s the only thing that makes me unique around here.”
“Well I think your British accent is very attractive.” I winked at him “I’m so glad you moved here”
“Me too. Vanessa I’ve been meaning to ask you something. I don’t think it’s too soon this time so uh will you be my girlfriend?” he looked at me with pleading eyes as if this answer would determine the rest of his life. Who knows, maybe it will. I’m so happy he finally asked me. It’s really not that important considering everybody already knows were dating, but it’s nice to know its official.
“I would love to be your girlfriend” I gave him a hug. We were interrupted by a loud booming thunder.
“Oh shit. Did you hear that?” I asked Liam
Before he even got a chance to respond it started pouring down rain. “I’ll take you home” Liam commanded.
“I’m not going to let a little rain ruin my night. Lighten up and learn to dance in the rain.” I started walking in the other direction then I stopped walking and starting singing at the top of my lungs and dancing like a fool. Keep in mind singing and dancing are possibly two of my worst talents.
“HEY HEY YOU YOU I DON’T LIKE YOUR GIRLFRIEND NO WAY NO WAY THINK YOU NEED A NEW ONE!” I sang/screamed while doing some crazy unknown dance moves.
Liam walked towards me shaking his head. “You are my girlfriend, if you don’t like my girlfriend I think you have a problem there”
I giggled at him and he chuckled lightly. He grabbed my hands and looked at me.
“What’s your biggest wish?” he asked me.
“What?” I asked confused of his question and why he would ask it now.
“What’s your biggest wish” he repeated the question.
“To be kissed in the rain. What’s yours?”
“To be the one kissing you.”
We both stood there kissing in the rain, oblivious to everything around us. It was the most romantic moment any girl could ask for. As cliché as it was, I enjoyed every second of that moment. For once in my life, everything felt absolutely perfect and worry free.

heeeeeeeeeeey! Lanessa is so cute <3 This may have been the most Cliché chapter ever but ohwell! I think a romantic kiss in the rain is the cutest thing ever! The song Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne has been stuck in my head all day and I have no idea why. So thats why I made Vanessa sing that song ahaa ;P
people are always complaining that they can never fall in love and blaaah blaah blaah. So heres what I'm going to do to help them.
1) dig a hole
2) name it love
3) watch people fall in love
