Ashton's POV-

"Shit, shit, shit," he was running around grabbing his clothing trying to be able to get out and chase after Sarah.

There was a knock on the door, "Go away Emily."

"Open the god damn door" he heard Amelia's voice.

"Shit," he ran to the door and flung it open.

"Emily?! Out of all the people you could've been sleeping with, EMILY?!" She shouted walking into the room picking up all of Sarah's things.

"I haven't slept with her all week. She tried, believe me she tried, but I wasn't interested. I want Sarah. All I want is Sarah."

"Week? You think because you haven't slept with her this week everything is ok? God Ashton you're so freaking dumb sometimes." Amelia tossed Sarah's clothing into her handbag.

Ashton couldn't say anything. He didn't know what to say and maybe Amelia was right, maybe he was dumb.

"You've been building a relationship with Sarah for over a month. Although she won't admit it, I'm pretty sure she has had a thing for you since day one. She was worried about the fact she actually might like you and then you showed up and took her to her favorite spot to eat, you start sneaking around, and finally tell her you like her. But you being your male gigolo self didn't realize what you were doing up until you called her your God damn girlfriend!"

"You think I didn't know what we were doing? Do you see this place? It is covered in her favorite flower, we ate her favorite food, I did all of this for her. I fucking realized what we were doing. But in the beginning I thought we were on the route to being friends. I needed my release somehow. Emily happened to be there. I haven't been sleeping with anyone else since I started with Sarah. We've only been dating for a day and I told her I love her!" He shouted as he sat down on edge of the bed.

"You said what? To who?" she stopped all movement.

"I told her I love her. And I mean it. 100%. I have never felt this way about anyone ever. I thought I did with you but I realized that Sarah was right. You were just the girl who said no. I took rejection for affection. I was such an idiot." He was trying to laugh away the pain of having Sarah not only be right from the beginning but losing her all in a matter of minutes.

"You've screwed up royally bro," Amelia said as she walked over and gave him a pat on the shoulder, "I don't think I can help you on this one."

"You just called me bro," he tried to laugh.

"Well you are," she responded with an equally weak laugh.

"I guess you're right," he smiled up at her and she looked apprehensive to take a seat next to him, but she did it anyway.

"Listen Ashton, I am going to see her right now because she has ran out of here in just your sheet and doesn't even have keys to her own apartment. Do not, under any circumstances follow me. You're the one person in the world she doesn't want to see right now. You need to give her time."

"Time? I leave tomorrow! I have no time!" He shouted.

Amelia jumped up, "Should've thought of that before you slept with your wardrobe designer."

Before he could argue the door was slamming shut and he was sat alone with thousands of lily-of-the-valley buds strewn across the entire room, a table of dirty dishes, and his own thoughts.

What the fuck did I do? I love her? Do I really love her? Yes! I fucking do! Shit! And I just ruined our literal one day relationship. One damn day. I seriously suck at relationships.
