The Cold Ones

***Icey's POV**

"OUT! GET OUT!" I shouted as I throw all the files at arms' length to the stupid people whose been irritating me since this morning. "Don't you dare show your faces until you fix this!"

The three people in front of me where all rattling, picking everything I've thrown them. And in a swift move, they're gone, shutting the door behind the dragon's lair.

Aaargh! I hate this! It's 10 in the morning and it's too early to shout. But I just can't help it! When people around you are too stupid to do their tasks correctly, you can't be the angel they want you to be.

Simpleng bagay nga lang ang pinapagawa ko sa kanila, hindi pa nila magawa-gawa?! Maano bang ifile nila ng maayos ang mga papeles nang hindi ako mahirapan sa pagrereview nito?! Ano, ako pang gagawa nun?! Para saan pa at binabayaran ko sila?!

Anong klaseng utak ba meron ang mga taong ito?! Nakakairita masyado!

The door suddenly opened at iniluwa nito ang isa pang nakakainis na tao. "Hey pretty, what's with the face? It's too early to be in bad mood."

"Shut up Andrew! If you have nothing important to say, might as well leave me." Inirapan ko siya pero mukhang wala itong epekto dahil ngumiti lang siya ng pagkatamis-tamis.

See?! Nakakainis talaga!

"So you're in Demoniece Mode now huh?" he chuckled.

"I'm always in my Demoniece Mode, Andrew." I said sweetly. "Now, if you don't want to be in hell, LEAVE ME ALONE! GET OUT" I shouted. Pero katulad kanina, he just laugh.

"Okay, okay! Chill Icey. I just want to check on you. And yeah, to remind you about the meeting this afternoon with SMC Corp."

"Look Andrew, last time I checked, YOU ARE NOT MY SECRETARY. So don't bother reminding me what I have to do with my life. Now, OUT!"

He raised his hands then laughed. After about a minute of laughing at me, he left my tower. Aarrh! Wala ba talagang matino sa kompanyang ito maliban sa akin?!

"So I guess this is a deal?" Mr. Meyer of SMC Corp. asked with delight. "Let's just keep in touch for the details of our contract signing. Okay? It was nice having business with you and your team, Ms. Deniece Concuerra." he smiled and then left the hall, leaving me and my team in heaven with joy.

Finally, after a long persuasion and courting, I closed another $80 Million account. Yes! My company gets to build the SMC Buildings and Towers around the world!

Hindi ito ang unang beses na makakaclose ako ng malaking deal. But iba itong SMCC. Lahat yata ng Engineering and Construction Company sa mundo nahihirapang ligawan sila. Masyado kasing perfectionist ang may-ari na si Arnold Meyer.

Good thing we don't offer anything other than perfection. They made the right choice.

"Congratulations Icey baby! You made it again!" It's Andrew giving me a bear hug na hindi ko naman sinusuklian kahit kalian. "I'm so proud of you! And I'm sure dad-"

"Shut up Andrew. I don't want to hear it." I cut him midsentence, unwrapping his hug. I know where this talk would end up and it will just sour my good mood. I just gave him my signature glare and walk my way towards the door.

I think my employees knew already that the witch is on her broom. Bigla kasing tumahimik paglabas ko. Well they should. Uminit bigla ang ulo ko baka masisante ko silang lahat. Pati yung mga naghihintay sa lift nagsialisan ng makita nila akong paparating.
