=Chapter Twelve=
The Coronation

I stared at my reflection. My hair had been curled and hung down to my waist. I wore a white dress that grazed the floor, it had gold strings that laced round my waist, and red and gold patterns were surrounding the corset styled top half. It was beautiful, honestly.

I was ready to be High Queen. But as I have the royal blood, I shall wear a cloak of flowers and shall sit between Peter and Susan.

A knock on the door awoke me of my daydreaming, two fauns, a centaur and a Dryad came in.

"They're ready for you, Your Majesty," one of the fauns with curly ginger hair and bright blue eyes said.

"Thank you..."

"Daisy," The faun said.

"Thank you Daisy," I smile at her.

They lead me down to where Aslan and the four siblings stood.

"You look stunning Alice," Peter smiled. He wore a kingly attire that was the colours of red and gold.

"Don't look too bad yourself Pete," I smirked.

Aslan smiled at us. We all got into order.

Edmund, Peter, Aslan, me, Susan and Lucy.

The doors opened and horns played as we happily walked down the aisle with big smiles.

We stand in front of our thrones.

"Bring forth the crowns," Aslan said smiling. Tumnus and Mr. Beaver bring out the crowns.

"To the glistening eastern sea, I give you Queen Lucy the Valiant."

"To the great western woods, King Edmund the Just

Mr Tumnus placed a tiara of gold and silver flowers onto my head, and two other fauns placed a cloak of flowers around me. I sat down with a smile.

"Once a king or Queen of Narnia, always a king or queen."

"Long live Queen Alice! Long live King Peter! Long live Queen Susan! Long live King Edmund! And long live Queen Lucy!"

I was on the balcony with Lucy watching Aslan stalk off somewhere. Tumnus came up towards us.

"We'll see him again," he says.

"When?" Lucy asks, tears fall out of her eyes.

"In time...you mustn't press him," Tumnus said.

"He isn't a tame lion after all," I say chuckling.

"No, but he's good..." Lucy mumbled, Tumnus kneeled down to her height.

"Here," he pulled out a hankie. "I think you need this more than I do."

Lucy takes it and sees that Aslan has disappeared and begins to cry softly. I pulled Lucy into a hug, Tumnus joining in.

"It's alright."

The two of them left shortly to dance around. I stayed outside as I wasn't exactly the biggest fan of party's.

"Hello Alice," Peter said, coming up next to me.

"Hello you're majesty," I joked. He chuckled.

"I'll never get used to that," he says smiling, I felt his hand wrap round mine. I smiled softly. We watched as the fiery orb disappeared underneath the glistening sea that had lively mermaids and mermen leaping out of the water. Night soon dawned upon Narnia.

I glanced towards Peter to see him already looking at me with love. I smiled. Our faces got closer...

BANG!

We jumped apart and laughed silently as we realised it was just fireworks, Peter grinned before swooping down and attaching his lips to mine.

We spent the rest of the night dancing, and watching on the balcony as the fireworks lit up the night sky.
