"I overloaded her with energy from the fourth dimension, it doesn't cause any damage, just makes the person pass out." I told the leader of Afterlife when she came in.

"That's good, what exactly was she doing?" she asked both me and Lincoln.

"She was about to kill Raina, they have some sort of history on the outside apparently," Lincoln explained.

Skye began to stir. "She's waking up," I pointed out.

"What did you do to me?" Skye questioned weakly, lifting her hand to her forehead, her eyes still closed.

"I had to...um... overload your body with energy so you'd stop..." Her eyes fluttered open and stared at me. "You were hurting Raina!" I said after a few moments of silence. "This will help with the headache," I handed over two of my Ibuprofen, I really needed to talk to Gordon about that refill.

"Who are you?" Skye turns to the leader of Afterlife.

"My name is Jiaying and you all are guests in my house." Jiaying had brown hair just like Skye that was pulled back into a bun. Her face had various scars on it from being sewed back together years ago. Jiaying had always confused me, I met her when I was ten, and yet she never aged a day since then.

"I can't stay here, not if she is," Skye gestured in the general direction of Raina's place.

"And that is completely your choice, but I'd like a couple days. let me help you train and control your powers, and if after you still don't want to be here, I'll have Gordon take you home right away." Skye agreed hesitantly to the idea. "We'll let you rest now," Jiaying lead the way out of Skye's room.

Lincoln said goodbye before continuing to his job as a doctor in Afterlife. I was about to tell Jiaying about my vision last night, but hesitated, wondering if me telling her is what caused it to happen that way. I decided to go to my room instead and think about it some more.
