Hello dear readers this book is under construction for grammar and chapter names and i might change the scenes a lil bit so im making this newer again so continue and next time youll see something related to like previously stuff on tv shows so go ahead and read young ones (when I am done rewriting this whole book this little heads up will be taken down after it's all done)

Natsuki's POV

Dad why'd you have to hurt me...and on the first day of my new highschool year. I swear I'm the unluckiest person alive. I have to go to school soon but I really don't think staying here is even a safe option anymore ever since my mother had passed away...looks like I've lost my chance at a good first impression haha

I should most likely join a club at school to avoid him after school. Maybe a cooking club? Yeah that sounds like a good idea since my so called dad won't feed me shit. How long have I eaten anything edible? A month or so at most, I walk to school knowing I'm going in earlier than most normal students would go. The cafeteria would hopefully be open probably not since I'm here at 6 in the goddamn morning.

I walk near the entrance of the school and I see a girl with coral like hair. What is she doing here early in the morning? She looks at her phone and her eyes open wide. She turns to look at me and smiles. Leaving me confused more than why she was even here in the first place.

"Hey uh do you know what time does tabura high school starts by any chance?" -??
Says the girl who I had just saw on her phone. I would say look it up moron but first impressions matter so I guess I can help her
"Yeah it starts at 7:50 why do you ask? Do you go here?"-Natsuki

She looks at me like a happy little puppy something I wish I'd seen before school has started but I can only imagine.

"In matter of fact I do go here! I'm actually starting my first year here hehe"-??
She puts her finger tips together nervously. Another freshman like me? Nice maybe I can befriend her hopefully she knows how to join a club since I've never joined one in middle school
"So what's your name?"-Natsuki

She stops twiddling with her fingers and smiles
"The names sayori, don't wear it out!"-Sayori
I giggle at her antic wondering how much energy can a person have in the morning.
"Well my names natsuki"-Natsuki

She looks at me with a face like as if she was thinking
"Natsuki...hmm. your name has a nice ring to it...nat-suki. Yeah it definitely does!"-Sayori
I look around for a while. The school is starting to open they're doors.
"Hey let's go inside!"-Sayori

Sayori then leads me to the inside of the school since the doors had just opened. We both walk around looking for our classes ahead of time. We soon see a bulletin board on the wall for clubs.
"Hey what club are you joining?"-Sayori

I don't reply to her question yet since im looking at the board for options.
"Maybe the cooking club still though I really don't know."-Natsuki

She looks at the board again and she points to one flyer that reads "literature club" she looks at me
"Maybe we both should join this one! It says it needs new members to become an official club"-Sayori

"Sure but maybe we should check it out after school"-Natsuki
She nods in agreement, we both continue walking on campus until we reach where the literature room is. Sayori spots a brown haired girl and drags me to someplace else.
"H-hey! Where are we going!?"-Natsuki

She continues to run until we reach our homeroom.
We're both out of breath until Sayori speaks up.
"I'm so so sorry. It's just that..the girl I saw yknow the brown haired one?"-Sayori

"Yeah what about her? You know her or something?"-Natsuki
She looks at me all embarrassed like..I think I caught along what she was trying to say.
"You LIKE HER DONT YOU"-Natsuki

I say in a teasing tone she looks at me and waves her hands around the air as if she's protesting against the idea of having a crush.
"W-WHAT N-NO I DONT I JUST HAPPEN TO KNOW HER THATS ALL"-Sayori

I look at her in a knowing grin. I don't press it any further since I just met her. But how does Sayori know her? We're they friends in middle school?
"Hey uh Sayori? How do you know that brown haired girl?"-Natsuki

"W-well uhm hmm. Let's say we're friends since elementary hehe"-Sayori
Why didn't Sayori say hi to her friend though? Are they in a fight? Ohh best not intervene, I've got other problems that I need to take care of.
"Well whatever happened between you two just stay strong Kay?"-Natsuki

"Well we're not exactly in a fight, it's just me being yknow awkward"-Sayori
That explains it, otherwise I would've thought that they were in a girls fight or something along the lines of that.
"Well we're going to say hi to her whether you like it or not"-Natsuki

"NoOo Natsuki dont do this to mEe"-Sayori
I sigh dragging her back to where we saw the brunette. I look around and see her still there only this time reading something off of a piece of paper. She notices our presence and puts the paper away.
"Hey Sayori how's it been! I didn't think you'd actually come to this school!"-??

"Haha yeaahhh hii and bYe"-Sayori
I grab her by the shirt before she can run away. Try being my size! You wouldn't be able to catch her..she's like the speed of light when she runs.
"Yes anyways Sayori here wanted to greet you..what's your name? Sorry if that's rude!"-Natsuki

"Oh well my names Monika and thank you for grabbing Sayori I figured you might've figured out that she can run when she wants to haha"-Monika
I agree with that ma'am, Sayori is a fast runner. I took note on grabbing her by the shirt whenever I feel like she'll leave me behind or run away from a situation just like this.
"Haha you caught me natsuki but wegottagotoclassnow"-Sayori

"Sayori you do know we have at least 20 minutes left till the bell rings and students haven't arrived yet right?"-Natsuki
She looks around the room nervously avoiding eye contact from me and Monika. She laughs nervously and makes more excuses to leave.
"Sayori have you been ok lately? You're always red when your around and and you always try to avoid me. Do you hate me?"-monika

"W-WHAT N-NO I-I JUST-"-Sayori
Monika saw me motioning my hands to my wrist as a sign language to tell her that it's time for class. I see students piling up in the building so she gives an understanding face and tells Sayori it's ok that she was just missing her over the summer break.
"Well I gotta go to homeroom I hope you all join the literature club! Till then bye!"-Monika

"Bye!"-Natsuki/Sayori
Me and Sayori have the same schedule so we both head to homeroom. We greet our teacher and sit in our seats. The school day passes quicker than I expected and now me and Sayori are in front of the Literature club door hesitating whether to enter the room or not..
