Kenzie's POV
I had done a terrible thing. It was a mistake, although most people wouldn't see it that way. Ryan wasn't making anything easier. In fact, he was making things worse. He was never supposed to find out about this. Once the dance had ended and he had found me, all I wanted to do was curl up and die. I didn't want to face him and explain, but unfortunately I was not in control. He was.

He took me to the back of the school, and before I even had a chance to speak, he pinned me against the wall so I was trapped.

"Who the hell were you kissing?!"

"Ryan, I can explain..."

"Well then you better start before I slap you!"

I took a deep breath, about to explain, but I was too late. He struck his hand across my face with a powerful force. He hit me twice, my face so sore I could barely speak. I could feel more tears falling and they stung my red cheeks.

"Why would you do this to me Kenzie," he said, pain in his voice.

"It really was a mistake."

"It's not like we were at a club and you were drunk! You knew what you were doing and you knew I would find out!"

"I'm really sorry..."

"At least tell me who you were kissing so I can beat his ass."

"You might not want to do that..."

"Why not?

"It was your best friend, Mike."

His eyes went wide at my response, but he didn't look surprised. "That doesn't surprise me. He's always doing that to girls. That's why he can never keep a girlfriend. Don't fall into his trap."

"I promise I won't. It really was an accident."

"How did it happen?"

"I was going to get food when I felt someone grab my hand and drag me in a dark corner. I really thought it was you, so I started kissing you. I didn't notice it was him until we were already making out. I tried to stop him but he wouldn't leave."

I lied. That isn't what happened at all. I pulled Mike into the corner and started kissing him since the night wasn't going as I planned. He didn't push me away though, so it was still kind of his fault.

"That stupid bitch ass..."

"Ryan calm down, it's ok. It's over now," I said trying to calm him down.

He cooled off, then intertwined our fingers before dragging us back to the school, where all the happy couples were leaving. I looked at all of them until my eyes stopped on them. And by them I mean Emily and whatever his name is. I whispered something to Ryan, and he agreed with my idea. This was going to be fun.

Emily's POV
I woke up to the sound of him snoring. I looked at his sleeping face and sighed out of happiness. I didn't know how I got so lucky, not only to have him as a best friend, but also as a boyfriend. I moved some hair out of his face as he slowly opened his eyes. I smiled and he returned it.

"Good morning Emily," he said sleepily.

"Good morning Yoongi."

He kissed my lips gently. I could feel my  cheeks turn red as he pulled me closer. I felt so safe and secure in his arms. I laid my head on his chest as I almost fell back to sleep. I woke back up though to the sound of my door opening. I leaned my head up to see my mom.

"Awwww," she whispered although I could clearly hear her.

"Mom, is there something you need," I said, still trying to wake up.
