A Shifter is a being that can change forms, they only have two forms: human form and animal form. The Rune Goddess and The Moon Goddess made these creatures mortal beings alongside humans. For centuries they lived peacefully. Until the Humanity's Rebellion on the Shifters, that forced the Shifters into hiding.
A few people know the existence of Shifters, Witches, Vampires, Angels, and Elves. Their existence became history, history became legend, and legend became myth. Completely hidden of what they truly are in the world for centuries, these creatures coexist with humans peacefully without knowing their hidden secret.
Shifters, Witches, and Vampires live alongside humans. Angels and Elves in the other hand live in two different realms; The Twilight Realm and Crystal Realm, but that's for another story.
In the continent of Rustbell lived 4 main clans of Shifters: The Owl Clan, Isolated from humans but sometimes interacts with them. The Ram Clan, mostly in the mountains, they lived away from modern civilizations. The Boar Clan, the most dominant and ruthless after defeating the Wolf Clan. And finally The Wolf Clan, a once powerful and superior clan that became fewer in numbers after the war of the clans.
There are many other clans but they are mostly detached from everything else, they lived far away.
