Chapter 1 : Tuesday Dreaming

Amara

I once had a really unusual dream, I was standing in a town blazing with fire and people screaming while burning to death, then i suddenly see a boy with a sad aura and surrounded by darkness crying in the corner of an alley. The darkness slowly crawls towards me, i found myself surrounded with fear then............

"Amara!, wake up you sleepy head" I hear my Dad knocking on the door, "Yes Dad I'll be there in just a minute" I replied while staring into nothingness, confused in what I have seen I wonder why. Jeez Amara snap out of it! you're running late for school hurry up, Oh yes, I just remembered I'm supposed to meet Jareth early at school, I jumped out of my bed straight to the bathroom took a shower and got dressed.

"Good Morning Dad" I said, "What do you mean Good Morning you're already late." He chuckled, We talked while eating breakfast and after I ran to school.

"Hey Jareth, sorry I'm late" I said hoping he would not notice, "Seriously?!, you asked me to tutor you before the 1st day of exams, because of that I had to stay up last night to study and you slept like a baby and even arrived late" he said with disappointment

I know that I'm always letting him down, but I really don't see it changing until now nothing pretty much happened in my life no excitement to the point that I don't feel like I'm genuinely happy, something is missing. I'm convinced that I'm basically bored.

Anyways we went to the exam room, and after that we met out side school.

"Amara have you heard the rumor about the Boar Clan? They say their leader's son is going to marry one from our clan" Jareth said, "What?! Did they say who it is??" I asked him with concern. Ughhh again with this rumors they are so annoying

Oh I forgot to mention this town is not ordinary, there are 4 Shifter clans that live in here Boar Clan, Owl Clan, Ram Clan and finally my clan which is Wolf Clan. A Shifter is basically a human that can turn in animals on their own will, My Dad is the Alpha of Wolf Clan and Jareth's Dad is one of the Betas.

The Clans don't really get along well because of some reasons.

I grew up with Jareth because our families are close, he always sticks around even if he doesn't want to, I think he is forced to.

"I don't know who it is and besides its just a rumor, you need to calm down its not like its you their referring to..." He chuckled. "Jareth you're really getting on my nerves!! You know I won't agree with that!.......Hhhmphh" I said this is extremely annoying especially Jareth, "Hey calm down its just a joke Mar" then he continued laughing. "Knock it off Jar its not funny" I'm starting to think that I should ignore this guy for a week. "Fine I surrender" he raised his hands in defeat.

After that little argument we started to walk home. "Hey you, get back here!!!!!" We heard from a distance, there was a wolf being chased by members of the Boar Clan, he is not one of ours maybe a Lone Wolf.

"Should we step in?" I asked Jareth, "No, he is not one of ours, if we step in our relationship with the Boar Clan will get worse."

I really want to help, but I don't want my Dad to deal with the mess maybe not now. Jareth noticed I feel upset.

"Do you want to eat lunch at the cafe?" He asked. "Yes!!" I said with excitement

"Hey Mom" Jareth said arriving at the cafe.
"So, how was your exams was it hard?" Ena asked us.
"Nope." we both answered

We sat down and waited for the food.
I heard 4 locals talking about the clans,
Jeez this town just won't stop, I really don't want to worry about this but there just might be a possibility.........

And what's with the dream, why would I have that kind of dream this is weird and out of nowhere. What's happening to my life I feel like problems are getting thrown at me to deal with them.

"Hey"

"Hello"

"Amara" Waving his hand in front of my face.
"Huh ohh"

"What were you thinking about?" Jareth asked.

"Uhhh nothing."

"Ohh okay, nevermind let's eat." He replied changing the subject.

"Thanks Mom we'll go now" Jareth said before we left.

Then a fresh minty and earthy scent I caught not far away, "it's nearby" I looked at the direction where it came from. "it's him, what should we do?" wondering what could happen if he causes more trouble for us, "I don't know, it's not like we could do anything" Jareth said.

"Well maybe we can do something..... How about confront him" I said.

"That might be a good idea"

"Then let's go" I smirked and we both shifted and chased him, he went to a dead end, me and Jareth changed back to our human forms.

"Hey we just want to talk" I tried to seek him out, he finally changed to his human form. This guy is a little bit older than me, he's tall has a sharp jaw, brown hair, deep emerald eyes, muscular build, and a dominant and seducing aura, fit to be an alpha.

"Here" Jareth threw him a pair of jeans.

"Who are you and what are you doing here" Jareth asked with a serious tone.

"Skylar and I'm just passing through" he introduced him self coldly.

"Then why were you being chased by the boar clan?"

"Jareth calm down." trying to make sure this will not end being a fight. I'm not in the mood to deal with one

"We want to help you" I really want to help
"What do you mean we? Amara" Jareth is still angry for no reason.

"Anyways, how about we bring you to Alpha" a really dangerous suggestion but that's the only thing I could think of.

"Can you guarantee that I won't be killed?" he asked coldly and with uncertainty. Where the hell did this guy come from?

"I'll do my best to keep you alive." I said, I wish dad would spare him.

I could see in his eyes that he is hopeless and really good at hiding the fact. "Fine I'll go with you"

"Well done a successful recruitment by our future alpha" Jareth teased. "Ooff" punched him real hard in the abdomen

"Don't start with me Jereth... " I said coldly this guy literally won't stop
"Lets go".

I really don't know whether I will continue this, sorry if the chapters are too short, has poor grammar, or has typos this is my first story after all and I'm busy with school and stuff so I won't be updating frequently. Enjoyyy!!❤️❤️
