Amara

Eyes watched me as do my round of training. Their observance intensified, but I am not bothered by them. Only one pair of eyes caught my attention. His face paired with a warming smile, it gave me courage. My best friend always supported me.

Feeling the air and sensing my surroundings. I want to ace this test. The test is all the skills we acquired in training. Each of us has a specialty in something. It's been more than a month and my skills in knives improved. I'm confident that I will not miss a target.

Running through the forest where the test is set up. All I know is that there are obstacles and hidden targets, I assume the setting is for an ambush. I heard a click through trees and my hand instantly reacted the knife hit a tree far away.

Knowing that there is nothing that can compare to a real battle or an ambush. I finished my round and everyone looked impressed, but I still don't care meh.

Walking back to the crowd Jareth immediately pounced at me "You did great". I simply replied "Thanks, but everyone does great" just stating the fact that everybody here worked as equally hard and improved.

"It's my turn now, watch me" he winked and I was just unaffected, straight poker face. I crossed my arms and watched

My ears pained as a group of girls squealed and cheered beside me. Geez he has loads of fans. I cringed. Where did they even come from? They popped out of nowhere.

Jareth finally finished and went straight to me.

The girls screaming "Jareth you're amazing" in chorus. I not surprised, I just rolled my eyes. Their noise is getting on my nerves, I felt a vein popped out of my eat.

Jareth had a grin on his face and noticed the girls. "Thanks girls" he smiled and winked at them. I just scoffed I think they're overreacting and rolled my eyes again. Jareth turned to me and had that teasing face I horribly loathed.

"Jealous much?" he teased.

"Nope." I really wasn't and didn't care.

"C'mon Mar, aren't you going to congratulate me or even say I did well?" he had a pout and acting all innocent and sweet with puppy eyes.

I still wasn't affected and just raised an eyebrow. Seriously? I mean seriously? I glanced at the girls whom basically melted right on the spot witnessing Jareth acting all sweet.

Turning my eyes back to Jareth "Can you please get a shirt? The girls basically melted at the sight of you being annoying" I said with a straight face.

And yes he was shirtless the whole time having his toned body on display for everyone to see, especially the group of girls.

"Fine~" he grabbed a shirt and puts it on "You're no fun" still pouting and acting all sweet.

"Stop it before I beat you to a pulp" I threatened.

It was finally over and I was about to go, but I suddenly heard a voice "Amara" I turned to the around and saw Skylar walking towards me wearing a fitted shirt and jeans, his hands in his pockets.

"What's up?" I haven't seen him since the other day when broke into my room and somehow magically disappeared.

"Nothing special, I just wanted to see you" he simply said and looked down to the grass.

"What's up with you wanting to see me?" I questioned him with a hint of sarcasm and crossed my arms.

"Nothing, I just want to" I just observed him our silence tensed up the air, wind blowing. The sky turning orange and about to drift into darkness.
