Chapter 23, Roll Call!

Reaper: ..........I'm sosososososo sorry for making everyone wait this long for the new chapter........like im really sorry. I had actually decided to discontinue the story since I haven't seen the show in years and am now sort of over it. However.....I was going through the comments, old and new, and decided against it. Thank you guys so so much for your support after all this time. Now onto the new chapter. ENJOY!!~

The light that shined through the window the next morning was unforgiving, not that it mattered at this point anyway. You had been woken up several times that night by a certain little one until you finally gave in and placed her between you and Fudou before trying to get a bit more shut eye.

"Morning" Fudou cracked an eye open to look at you before taking a deep breath. You let out a small, soft laugh and stood up to grab some comfortable clothes. You wanted to at least take a shower before you headed back to the hospital you get Idoya and Neko. It seems that Genda still hadn't woken up but he was doing better. You turned around to see Fudou cradling Luci in his arms on the bed and you couldn't stop the smile from falling over your features. 

"Go shower (Y/n), my sister wanted to talk to you before you leave though, love you." Fudou looked away from the giggling infant and motioned towards the door. You nodded and kissed his cheek and the top of Luci's head before walking to the showers. 

"Thanks Akio, love you both." After arriving at the showers you locked the door behind you and stripped, letting your tail free. You had stopped hiding your ears but your tail was a different story, prefering to keep that hidden. Turning on the shower head you proceeded to go through your morning routine, trying to get back into the swing of things. 

After your much need shower you dried off and got dressed for the day, wear some simple shorts and a t shirt. You looked in the mirror and noticed that your hair had gotten longer these past couple of weeks and it needed to be trimmed. Finding a pair of scissors under the sink you got to work trimming the strands on your head until you got your desired length. You cleaned up and headed down stairs to see Nica in the kitchen eating breakfast.  

"Good morning Nica." You sat beside her with your own food and started eating. She glanced at you and nodded in acknowledgement.

"Morning (Y/n)." Not much else was said for a while after that until Nica got up to clean her dishes. You followed her and set to work cleaning your own, making small talk.

"So your brother said you wanted to talk to me?" You scrubbed the plate, not looking at the girl beside you. She rinsed the rest of her dishes before grabbing a towel to dry them off and put them away, you doing the same not long after. 

"Yeah, I know you have a few Hissatsu tactics that could really help the team. But since you aren't allowed to play I was wondering if you could teach me, please"  She turned to you and bowed, catching you off guard. You struggled to find words at that moment but nodded. 

"I'll teach you one, it should be easy for you to master and hopefully make your own before the match today." The manager shuffled into the kitchen to make the rest of the team breakfast as you and Nica walked outside towards the grounds to do some last minute training. 

You both stood in front of the goal with a ball by your feet. You demonstrated a tactic that you had not yet shown anyone yet. Dribbling the ball with intricate footwork a shadow like veil covered the ball and you stopped in front of the goal,  kicking the ball as hard as you could. 

"TWIN SCYTHE" 

The ball headed straight towards the goal but at the last second there were two balls instead of one, both turning towards opposite sides of the goal and landing in the netting before one disappeared, leaving only the actually ball in the goal.
