Dumbledor wants to see you

Three long months later, I went back to Hogwarts nothing had changed. Draco was still my best friend and Mr. Popular, I still had my nose in the books, Draco still had a huge crush on Hermione, I was still getting good grades and I was still hated by everyone in my house.

The 9 months of school were ordinary, but one day before Potions, I ran into Ms. McGonagoll.

"Ah! Ms. Malfoy! I've been looking for you!" She said "You are going to Potions, yes?"

I considered correcting her, and telling her that I'm a LeStrange. But I just kept my mouth shut and nodded

"Well I'll tell the teacher that you might be late. Professor Dumbledor wants to see you. In his office. Now."

I just nodded and walked into the office, the door was already open.

Dumbledor walked over to me. "Ah, Amethyst. Come sit." He said and gestured me towards an empty chair. I walked over and sat down.

"You remember your sorting, yes?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Then you know that I got your name wrong, Ms. LeStrange."

I froze. I hadn't really thought about that at the time.

"I knew about you, so did the professors, but not about your captivity. That is until your letter was already sent. So when you appeared on the train we were all surprised." He told me.

"I see..." I replied. "But why did you change my name? Why did you call me a Malfoy?"

"Ms. LeStrange; everyone knows your mother. We know she's a very dangerous witch. Even though she has been sent to Azkaban, the students will be spooked to hear that there is more than one LeStrange woman, and one is roaming the halls. We shall not announce it, but if you think there are some friends of yours that can handle it, than go head. No one's going to stop you."

"Yes, sir." Was all I could manage to say.

"Also, stay safe. We don't want you to be involved with another attack now do we?"

There had been some attacks going on... Everyone was spooked.

"Yes, sir."

"That's all for now. You may leave now, Ms........ LeStrange."
