Hope

I sat down in Dumbledore's Army's secret room at Hogwarts with Seamus, a Gryffindor. We just sat there talking about how lovely Hogwarts used to be.

Hogwarts had changed since last year. Snape became headmaster and he walked the halls keeping his reign of terror in check. He made me sick, pretending that he wasn't the killer is.

Dementors now surrounded the school and Harry, Hermione and Ron were gone. Draco, Blaise and I found comfort in each other. Well, Blaise would run off with Luna a lot and Draco would mostly just talk about how much he missed Hermione and how he wished she was safe.

Despite all the new changes in my once only home, Neville refused to loose hope. He kept the army together and found new ways to get in and out of Hogwarts. Barely anyone believed that we would change Hogwarts and end the war. He told me Harry promised that we would make his parents proud, and Harry never breaks a promise.

Neville had gone through the painting and hadn't come back for a while. Some were making bets, saying he got caught. All were called off as Neville walked in through the painting.

"I have a surprise." He announced, a large smile plastered on his face.

"Whatever it is, it's hopeless, Neville." Seamus said.

"I'm not so sure." Neville stepped out all the way to reveal the people standing behind him.

It was Harry, Hermione and Ron.

The room erupted with cheers, and we all clapped as Harry came around giving people hugs. He lastly came to me.

"You're still here." I heard Harry whisper to me. "Even after everything you've seen."

"I've come to far. I'd never miss this. And if I'm gonna fight, I'm gonna fight for what's right." Harry smiled at me and Hermione nearly tackled me.

"Ame! Is Draco here? Is he okay?" She asked in a panic. I laughed.

"He's here and he's okay. He doesn't stop talking about you. Do they know?" I whispered and nodded to Ron and Harry.

She blushed and shook her head. That's when Ginny walked in and the cheers stopped. She noticed Harry and stopped in her tracks and they stared at each other.

"Ginny!" Ron exclaimed.

"Hello." She said to Harry.

"Hi." Harry responded. Ron was getting annoyed that his sister completely snubbed her. Hermione nudged him and gave him a disapproving look.

"What? I'm only her brother." Ron said.

"She could care less." Seamus said, smirking.

"She just wants to see Harry." I added also smirking.

"Shut up." Ron said.

"What's wrong?" Hermione asked Ginny.

"Snape knows Harry was in Hogsmade." She responded. "He wants us all to report the great hall.
