*Amethyst's Point of View*

I ran up the stairs of the astronomy tower as fast. I stood in the door frame to see an awful sight. Draco was standing there, his wand pointing at Dumbledore. Harry was next to the door and mother was standing behind.

"Draco...." I gasped. Everyone's attention went to me. They all stared at me. Dumbledore, mother, Harry, everyone.

"Amethyst......" Draco said. "Ame, go now! I don't want you to see this!" He yelled.

"Draco-"

"LEAVE!"

"Amethyst, just go." Harry said, whispered.

"No. Draco, you are not a killer." I replied, standing my ground. My hands became fists and I raised my head slightly.

"Don't you see? I have to kill him, or he'll kill me..." He said, a tear moving down his face.

"What would Hermione say? She wouldn't want you to do this." The look on his face softened at the mention of Hermione's name. He had ended things between them last month, but they still loved each other.

"She'll have to forget about me." He said quietly, looking away.

"How can I when you have my heart?" I turned around to see Hermione standing at the end of the stair case. I could see the aura of pain and sadness around her and tears were in her eyes.

"Enough of this. Draco do it!" My mother urged. That's when things got crazy. Well, things were all ready pretty intense, but this was when all hell broke loose.

I ran up to my mother, attacking her pressure points in her waist with my hands, making her collapse. Death eaters came to me and I tried to reach for my wand but fell backwards. I saw a flash of green and they fell down towards me. I saw Harry, lowering his wand. I smirked at him and he helped me up. I yelled out in pain as I stood. Harry put his arm around me, keeping me stable.

"Though you could use some help." He said. "It seems there something wrong with your foot."

"I just twisted it. We have bigger problems. Hermione needs to talk talk Draco, make him come to his senses. Just help me guard while they talk." Harry nodded in response as we surrounded them, just as death eaters were climbing back up along with my mother.

"Draco, just stop this." Hermione begged, placing her hand on his shoulder. He glanced. At it slightly, then at her.

"Hermione, I love you, but the only way I can protect you is doing this." He spoke slowly and sincerely.

"I want you to stand by my side to protect me, not to kill to protect me! Just fight with me, and we can just work this all out... Please...." Tears were now streaming down her face.

Draco swooped down, kissing her with all his passion and few hesitations. She, of course, kissed him back. They just stood there snogging, oblivious to all that was happening around them. Harry and I shot many spells around, a little pissed that Draco and Mione were snogging during all of this.

Suddenly there was a bright green flash and we all turned. Snape was standing with his wand raised, and the flash hit Dumbledore. He just stood there, then fell backwards off the stair case. Harry yelled and ran to the railing along with me and Hermione. And I'll never forget the sight I saw.

His arms extended out, almost reaching out for something. His face was emotionless but I could see his eyes pleading for help or for someone to save him. I turned to see Snape just standing there. Fury built up in me as I saw him.

"You! You son of a bitch!" I screamed, marching towards Snape with my wand raised. Before I could cast a single spell, he waved his wand, sending me backwards. I banged against the railing and fell to the floor, Draco ran to help me up.

"Idiot girl..." Snape muttered, and he marched away with my mother and the death eaters.

That's when we all cried.

I don't know how long we were there, but it felt like forever.
