If we show our love ever day, what's the point in having a day dedicated to doing so. Why do people find their confidence to ask their crush out on a single day? Why is it such a big deal? A social construct, in which makes it ok for stores to bump up prices on candy and bears. For people with significant others, it's a day full of joy. For the lonely and broken hearts, it's a pitiful time. Some feel nothing, it's just another day for them. We follow the tradition of our predecessors. This day may be a total buzz, but it's the one day you can tell all the people you love that you appreciate them.
