Raura- the country life

A few days later

Ross' POV

It has been 4 days since I asked Laura to be my girlfriend and they have been the best 4 days of my life anyway right now I am doing my chores and when I looked up I saw Laura doing her chores then I decided to ask Laura's parents if she can stay out late tonight but not too late.

I stood up and walked over to the Marano household I saw Laura's parents while Laura was taking Princess for a ride.

Ross: Mr and Mrs Marano

They faced me and smiled.

Laura's mum: hello Ross 

Ross: can I ask a favour?

Laura's dad: of course Ross

Ross: well I was wondering if Laura could stay out a little late tonight

Laura's mum: that is fine but no longer than 11

Ross: deal

Laura's dad: *smiles* you are alright Ross

Ross: thank you sir

Laura's mum: and with polite manners unlike her ex boyfriend

Ross: what was he like?

Laura's dad: horrible to Laura since when Laura came home she had a few cuts and bruises on her and she wouldn't tell us what happened she would always tell us that she fell.

Ross: oh 

Ross' uncle: Ross I can use your help 

Ross: coming

I walked over to my aunt and uncle's farm and started to help my uncle with the chores outside.

End of POV

Laura's POV

I came back from a ride with Princess I took her to the field and I took off her saddle and reigns then I let her free I took the saddle and the reigns to the stable and placed them on the holders outside the stable. 

Laura's mum: is all your chores done?

Laura: well I have to clean Princess' stable out and some more chores

Laura's dad: alright I need you to help me with the hay bails and some other chores besides your chores

Laura: okay dad

I got everything I need and started to clean her stable out.

*After and hour*

Princess' stable was cleaned out she had new hay out with new food and water then I walked over to my dad to help him with the hay bails. My dad had to take these to his friends farm.

*After 35 minutes*

 I finally finished helping my dad.

Laura's dad: could you chop wood while I am gone

Laura: ok 

My dad got in the tractor and he drove off my mum is in the house cleaning while I am chopping wood.

???: morning beautiful

I faced the voice and saw Ross he smiled.

Laura: morning Ross

Ross: I was wondering if you want later we can go to the back field

Laura: sure but once I have finished my chores which won't end till 6pm

Ross: ok 

Laura: *smiles* shouldn't you be doing your chores?

Ross: oh shoot yeah
