Drowning in nothing

I saw him everywhere
I felt his presence constantly around me
So pure and all consuming
Common sense be darned
It was truly beautiful
The thought of it all

In a moment it all died
Light turned to dust
And all colours turned to grey
As all of me went dumb
In that moment
Something inside me died

The bright, loud, heat powered supernova
Burned out.
And I lost yet another piece of myself
Drowning in the void his presence left
Quiet and all consuming
It screams louder then all of the outside world

As once again I land on square one
Empty and barren
I watch the world go on without me
As thoughts of nothingness runs a cold chill through me
I loved you
But not as much as you loved her
