"BOYS TIME TO EAT!"
I pull my hand away from Stokeley's cheek and I see him pout slightly. "Cmon let's eat." I say while standing up.
He stands up and I walk in front of him, making sure to sway my hips. I know he likes what he sees because earlier I caught him starin. He wasn't really slick about it either.
"Hey Jah?" "Mmhm." I hum in response. "Can we not talk about what just happened?" I turn around to face him and he's rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "Yeah I won't bring it up." I say and he sighs in relief.
We walk into the kitchen and our moms look at us curiously. "What?" I ask annoyed at them for looking at us like that.
"Boy don't talk to me like that." My mom says while hitting me upside the head. "Oww." I whine while rubbing my head. I head Stokeley try to stifle a laugh from beside me.
"It's not funny!" I whine while playfully hitting him. He just laughs and wraps an arm around my shoulder. Our moms keep looking at us.
"Y'all got a thing goin on?" His mom ask with a raised eyebrow. I blush and Stokeley says, "No." then he mutters something that sounds like, 'Not yet tho.' Shut up Jahseh. You're just hearing things. He wouldn't say that.
They keep lookin at us so I put my head down. I hate when adults look at me. It makes me so uncomfortable.
"Ok...Let's eat!" My mom says excitedly. I look up and she's rubbing her hands together. We all walk out to the dining room and sit down. I just realized that Stokeley still has his arm around my shoulders.
I blush and cover my face. Stokeley moves my hands and smiles at me, making me blush more. "Keep smiling. It looks good on you." I say and he blushes.
"Yeah y'all defiantly ain't got nothin goin on." His mom says sarcastically and both moms roll their eyes at the same time. "Can we just eat." Stokeley whines while removing his arm from around my shoulders.
I pout but not very noticeably. "Yeah." Mrs. Goulborne says while passing around mashed potatoes. I take a little bit then pass it to Stokeley.
He takes some and passes it back over to our mamas. I really don't wanna eat right now.....
