Chapter 35: Worst lazy day.

Katy's POV

Earlier in the afternoon Shannon woke me up as she told me before she left me in my room to take a sleep. I call Tamra about the interview in Saturday and all the details in my work. I spend all my days inside the house but its not helping me. It made me uncomfortable or uneasy even though I try to forget all my troubles. I try to help mom to cook but I'm such a mess in the kitchen, it's not a great idea. I join dad on the couch with David to watch football but I don't understand it. It came that I cheer on the opponent of their team and they looked at me evilly. I awkwardly smile at them.

Time passes and it's already late in the evening. I'd never had a chance to get out of the house. I've never have a glimpse or to see Emmanuelle. (shrugged) it's better because I can hold my emotion not to tell her. B'cause this time is so complicated to hold it. I don't want to tell her now, better talk to Jonathan first about it.

"Hey Kate. You've been a lazy cat all day." Shannon said popping her head at the door of the bathroom while she was brushing her teeth.

"Yeah, next week I'm going back to LA. I think I don't need another week here." I shrugged crawling on my bed.

"Really? Oh, my... I'm excited.!!" She said excitedly clap her hands once while wiping her face with a towel.

"For what???" I furrow my eyebrows to her, I don't know what she means. Why is she excited.

"Your date!!??" She said jumping on in front of me.

"Date?? I don't remember that DATE thing." I said as I poke her head.

"Date with John?? Don't be so innocent Kate.!" She says snapping her fingers.

"Duh.... Shannon..!! It's not a date.!! It's just we will have to talk to clear things." I clarify her widen my eyes on her.

She back up a little. "Oh my god! Katy don't do that. It's creepy.!" Shannon said shutting her eyes.

"What? Oh Shan. I can't get what you said." I said hitting her head softly.

"Don't do that again!! The wide eyes, because it's like..it's look like your eyes are popping out. It's creepy Kate!" She explained.

I laughed. "Really? You know it's my asset, Shann." I flicking my eyes to her.

"Okay, that's better." she added.

I stick out my tongue to her hitting her a pillow.

"Is that necessary? Huh..huh..huh...?" She said as she jumps on me. We laugh together. Like we're kids playing, hitting each other.

We are interrupted by the knock on the door. It opens and David standing by it with his wondering, questioning and pissed face.

"What??!!" I asked a little annoyed.

"what do you think of your self? You're not kids anymore that having their first time sleep over in their friends house.!!" David said sarcastically.

Shannon and I looked at each other and smirk.

"Don't mind him, his life is boring. He don't know how to have fun." I whisper to Shannon but David hear it.

"I'm still here Katheryn.!" He said crossing his arms.

"Oh, he's serious Kate. I can sense it." Shannon whispers poking my side.

I chuckled. "don't be scared. I'm still older than him." I whispered back. David just looked at us evilly but I looked at him evilly much evil than his eyes. Like what Shannon said 'just don't do it again' but I did.

"It's pass 11 in the evening girls. Better go to sleep." He shrugged, rolling his eyes saying like he lose the fight on me, then turn his back and close the door.

"My goodness Kate. I told you not to do that again.!!" she whines.

"I know! But look, it saves us.! " I chuckled and gestured proudly.

"Yeah you're right but next time don't let me see it or if you do it again be sure that I'm not at your side." She said pointing at me.

I yawned. I feel tired but I didn't do anything whole day. Well, this is the outcome of laziness and I'm not used to it.

"We better sleep now!" I said tucking my body inside the sheets as well Shannon did too. She never says anything even goodnight she just fall asleep very quick. 

"good night shan." I said. She just groan answering me back.

I caught myself smiling in the thought that Emmanuelle asked me to sing for her. As I slowly lost and drifted away to sleep.
