Peter swung from web to web, Tony gripping his torso tightly to avoid plummeting to his death, until they reached the billionaires tower. It was surprisingly dark in the tower. Most of the windows were covered by their blinds and very few rooms had lights turned on.
There weren't been many people still there and Pepper must of dismissed the workers early so the Avengers could spend all their time looking for the Stark.
It was early in the morning when they landed. Tony had dropped onto the safety of the roof first while Peter rolled onto the roof, taking the force evenly. He was exhausted from not only carrying his own and Tony's body weight for hours but also the restless nights filled with nightmares he had been cursed with for months. Peter didn't even want to stand.
JARVIS alerted the group of Avengers, who had been gathered on one of the floors to talk about their next move, that Tony Stark had been returned to the building via the roof by an unidentified armed teenager. He had also scanned the boy and informed the team his DNA, body temperature and healing speed from his fall were abnormal.
Natasha immediately assumed the boy was a threat, reached for her weapon and sprinted towards the elevator, followed by the others, ordering JARVIS to take her to Stark as soon as he could. She was followed by Bruce (in case Tony was injured), Pepper (to make amends with her husband) and Steve (because he could and no one could stop him).
Peter was regaining his breath, still laying on the roof towards the night sky, when the door opened to reveal a small group of armed angry heroes. He had seen them on TV a few times and recognized them as Stark's allies.
They were glaring down at him for a silent moment, tension thick in the air that a knife wouldn't be able to make a dent in. This was broken by the tall ginger woman who had puffy red eyes running towards his new 'crazy' friend to embrace him.
Tony was taken aback, Pepper was finally back to normal somehow, but still hugged his wife all the same "Hey there Pepper, long time no see, huh?" He smiled as she buried her face into his chest.
"Little help over here?" Peter spoke up from the floor, he could feel where one of his ribs had broken from his fall. He must of misjudged his landing. You couldn't really blame him since he hadn't had the chance to practice jumping off of his webs onto a towers rooftop.
In return to his request, he received two guns aimed at his head by the red headed Natasha and a super soldier getting into a fighting stance. Tony waved them off, Pepper still hugging him, and gestured for Bruce to help the kid "This is Peter Parker, he helped me escape from the asylum."
Bruce had been walking towards the injured boy but at that he stopped in his tracks "Asylum? Jesus Tony, why would you take him with you?"
"Well, Dr Banner, funnily enough i'm not in fact mad. Some distant family couldn't be bothered to care for me when my parents, aunt and uncle died so they shoved me in the crazy house," Peter gave a pained grin and tried to sit up "Also, not that I want to trouble you but I do believe I've broken one of my left ribs."

Peter had been sat on one of the medical bay beds, quickly patched up by Bruce and questioned about his powers. Apparently JARVIS had sent the doctor the video of Peter arriving with Tony by his biologically spider-bite built web shooters that formed in his wrists, spiking Bruce's interest. It was rare he was allowed by a mutant to study their powers and he wasn't passing up the opportunity.
He had also been thanked by Pepper and most of the Avengers for returning Tony, all apart from Natasha. She, upon hearing Peters full name, had retreated to one of the offices to search his name on S.H.I.E.L.D's database for any remaining relatives.
She found the files revealing his deceased parents as Mary and Richard Parker (high level scientists/Agents who had designed the original helicarrier and other important machinery).
She read about how both his uncle and aunt had been killed at points during his life a few years apart and how after he was put into the care of some heavy drinkers (who were at the time of reading that in jail for attempted robbery among other things) he was shipped off to a asylum.
She was amazed, she knew that he had gone in that place sane but how he had come out sane was beyond her.
Then again who was to say he wasn't slightly insane?

[PUBLISHED 14/03/2019]
If you have any requests let me know in either a message or comment and if you find any mistakes then tell me so i can fix it. I really do appreciate it.
The multiple endings for the 'A HACKER' chapter are already written, I love them both and they're next in the line up with only one other chapter between them. The requested one has been moved to the first ending since I really want to get it out.
I don't want to publish them back-to-back while other people might just want to see completely new content. I do also have some multiple part stories on the way but that doesn't mean the usual chapters are being put on hold.
I have a few one-shots on the way that i'm really proud of and show the difference between now and last year when I sucked at writing. Don't try to claim i wasn't, I've read my old note books. They're enough to make a fully grown experienced English teacher leap out of a fifty floor building and hope for death.
Anyway, I'll see you all (hopefully) next time!
