Stark was given exact orders from Fury, find out whoever Spider-Man was under the mask and report back to him immediately. Not hard right? For once he followed orders to the letter, although he was reluctant to after finding that he was still a kid- only fifteen!

After that he didn't hear another word on the subject and just suspected that he was being monitored by S.H.I.E.L.D but little did he know that Peter had been hired as an Agent yet still allowed to be Spider-Man for a while longer.

It was around a year until Parker disappeared from the public eye in both civilian and superhero form, not long after Aunt May's untimely death from one of his enemies. Fueled by grief, he immersed himself into his job and despite his age he quickly rose through the ranks.

On the day he officially became a level nine Agent he was introduced to Natasha Romanoff, his new mentor and the woman who'd become his next mother-figure. Once she heard that all of those who had cared for the seventeen year old had come to an unfortunate demise she took it upon herself to look after him, treating him like the child she could never have.

Bruce didn't mind this, he was excited to find someone who read and understood his papers written on Gamma Radiation, often going to Peter for a proof read on his work. He didn't treat him like a son as much as Natasha did, yet he swore that if anyone ever laid a finger on Peter he'd turn green faster than they could say "Aw, nuts".

"Hey Bruce, who's Petey?" Tony called out to his friend, picking up the phone to see the callers ID "He's calling you, whoever he is."

Bruce jogged over the worktable and answered the call, leaving the room before he spoke. Tony, curiosity getting the better of him as always, asked FRIDAY to play the audio from outside of the room and set down his tools to listen.

"Peter, do you need me to call Natasha? I'm sure she'd be more than happy to hunt your target down for you... I don't believe you when you say 'It's only a scratch!' I know when you're lying... I'm texting Natasha to pick you up and bring you to where I work, I'm sure Tony would love to finally meet you." The phone call ended with Bruce scolding whoever was on the other end and then quickly texting who Stark could only guess was Natasha.

When Banner walked back into the room he saw the slight smirk on Tony's face and immediately knew he'd been listening in on the conversation. Of course he had, what else would he do with his spare time.

Tony, realizing the game was up, stopped working again and faced Bruce "So, who is Petey? You've never spoken about him before."

"You'll see when he arrives here with Natasha, i'll need some space though as he's bound to be seriously hurt again" Dr Banner rolled his eyes and cleared a space on one of the other tables as if what he'd admitted was a daily occurrence.

It was only a few minutes until a familiar red head arrived carrying a small scrawny yet muscled boy in her arms, looking disgruntled and protesting that he was fine. It was hard to believe him when he had a bullet embedded through his leg and a long cut down down the side of his face. You could barely see the faint white lines of scars from who knows what, he must be a particularly troublesome teenager.

"Peter, for the last time you are not 'fine' just let Bruce extract the bullet and patch you up again." Natasha gently sat him down on the table top, bringing the bleeding leg up for Banner to see.

Bruce brought out a small pocket-sized first aid kit from his lab coat and went to work. He must of done it many times before and that thought only made Stark want to know who 'Peter' really was even more. In no time Peter had a bandaged leg and a clean cut on his face that would eventually fade like the rest thanks to his quick-healing.

"If you're not more careful i'll make Nat supervise you again for a month, you know I will." Bruce warned the kid while slipping the green case containing bandages and all sorts back into his pocket.

"Please no, last time she made me talk about Peppers intern." Peter groaned, annoyed at the mere thought of that memory of the stake-out.

"Michelle? What's happening with you and her anyway, didn't you go on a date a week ago" Natasha piped up from the seat next to the table, completely ignoring the flabbergasted Tony at his desk.

"Jeez, we were just hanging out Mom, we're friends and you know that." He rolled his eyes and shuffled off the table, onto his feet and although he swayed slightly from the pain he still managed to stand. He left his hand on the table just in case he might fall, not wanting to hurt himself even more.

"Whatever you say Маленький паук, whatever you say," She chuckled, ruffled Peters hair to mess it up even more and got up to leave "I'll see you later, try not to die." Natasha walked out of the room, probably off to stop Clint from annoying the new recruits he's supposed to be training.

"What was all of that?" Stark finally found the right words and his little outburst caught the attention of Bruce and Bruce Jr.

"Tony, meet Peter Parker, he's a level nine Agent that both Natasha and I have a soft spot for. I'm sure you'll get along, he's as much a a genius as you." Bruce smiled and returned back to the circuit board he'd been building for the robot that could clear away explosions automatically. Knowing their track record, it would definitely come in handy more than once.

Peter Parker, where had he heard that name before? A kid from an orphanage he visited perhaps? "Hang on, you're Spider-Man!"

Peter froze, he hadn't heard that name in a while and had no idea how it had been traced back to him "How do you know that, it's classified information." He narrowed his eyes at him suspiciously, sending his best glare Stark's way.

"I'm the one that was told to find out and when Fury tells you to do something, you do it." Tony shrugged ad tried to avoid the look Peter was giving him.

"That doesn't sound like you."

"Shut up Bruce."

[PUBLISHED 18/01/2019]

I decided to adapt a short story i wrote a while back to make Peter the main character yet still give him at least one Avenger for a mentor. Honestly, i can imagine Bruce and Natasha adopting someone around Peters age.

If you don't know, 'Маленький паук' means 'Little Spider' but if you've read a lot of these books, know Russian or looked it up from curiosity you probably don't need the translation. I want to try and add actual Russian to the stories where it belongs, tell me if you're liking that idea.

As always, if you see a mistake let me know or if you have a request comment on the chapter and/or message me.

I'll see you all in the next chapter!
