When they arrived back at the Tower Tony headed to his office and immediately searched S.H.I.E.L.D's database for a Teresa Parker. Sure enough, he was met with the face of a beautiful red head with few similar traits to her younger brother, something around the eyes. Turns out she had moved to S.H.I.E.L.D from the CIA and changed from her alias Teresa Durand.

There were mission reports of her flying around the city with mechanical wings, slightly more impressive than Sam's but definitely far more elegant, carrying citizens away from danger and taking down her targets.  How she was never considered for the Avengers he had no idea.

All in all she was an underrated hero that Stark was starting to want to meet up. What made him go to her contact information was the fact she was marked as a possible Avenger recruit by none other than Fury Director of S.H.I.E.L.D himself.

He arranged for her to meet them at the Tower (under the disguise of a meeting with Fury) within two hours. Sure enough once two hours passed JARVIS alerted him Teresa had landed on the roof. She had brought her wings with her just in case there was a possible threat, it was hard to trust anyone in S.H.I.E.L.D when it was full of spies.

Stark took the elevator to the roof where he found her waiting patiently "Teresa Parker?" He called over to her while walking, hands in the pockets of his suit. To be honest, he was wondering why he was doing this. It's not like he knew that kid, perhaps he just wanted to stop him from hacking into his system again.

"Stark," She nodded towards him as if they had met before hand despite this being the first time their paths had crossed "Where's Director Fury?" Her eyes scanned the rooftop as if he was going to magically appear out of thin air. Then again, knowing Fury, it wouldn't be out of the ordinary.

"He's not the one who called you here, that would be me." Tony shrugged and stopped his steps. He was around two meters away from her, eyes flickering between her face and the lethal wings on her back.

"What business do you have with me? It's not like you can't go to your teammates for help." She looked at the arrogant billionaire with suspicion. Teresa was well aware of his 'playful' past and lack of respect for rules.

"This Tower got hacked recently and the person behind it turned out to be your little brother, Peter Parker," That made him catch her attention, her eyes widening in shock "He was trying to look for you. Apparently the care system is on the lookout for him and mustn't have the brain capacity to realize he hasn't missed a single day of school." He rolled his eyes and chuckled at the headless buffoons that had failed to do a very simple job.

"Peter? He's still alive?" Her jaw dropped and her hands, which had been in a tight fist, loosened. Tony's smile faltered for a moment, he couldn't imagine what it was like to assume a family member was dead for years. Why hadn't Fury told her the truth?

"Alive and well, not to mention the little asshole is incredibly smart. Not many kids his age can say the have an IQ of 272 you know." Stark smirked, for some reason proud of the kid he had only talked to for a few minutes.

"Where is he?" Teresa ordered him. She had believed her brother had died a long time ago and now she knew the truth there was no way in hell she was letting him stay isolated from his real family.

"If you follow me I can show you his file"

"Show me."

Teresa waited outside Midtown, leaning up against that was on lend from Stark, on the lookout for her brother. The final school bell had rung and the sea of chatting students were flowing out of the doors into the streets. To fit in Teresa had stowed her wings in the boot of the car and changed into clothes that were apparently popular. Even then she wore her brown leather jacket.

Her foot tapped on the pavement impatiently and her arms were crossed over her chest. She was getting tired of the wolf-whistles from cocky ninth graders and hearing the younger years whispering about why she was there.

There was one girl that walked a good distance from the crowd, a sketch book in her arms and a bored expression on her face, that did none of those things. She did however slightly recognize Teresa and hung around as if she knew what was going to happen next. A few moments later she was joined by a boy who looked to be the same age.

Then Peter walked out. He was wearing a shirt with a terrible science pun, scruffy jeans that had probably been worn for a few days, maybe a week, and his muddy trainers looked cheap. He had barely scraped enough money to get them, refusing to rely on May completely.

He looked suspiciously at his friends smirking faces and he didn't know what they had to smile about, that was until he looked towards the school gates.

Peter almost dropped his science text book (it was a good thing it didn't fall as it would of definitely crushed his toes) in shock and slowly broke into a run towards Teresa. He threw her arms around her neck, his text book discarded a meter away on the ground, and she didn't hesitate to return the hug.

[PUBLISHED 31/03/2019]

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to say I've got a VERY long one-shot coming up next, around 3800+ words, and a few of my usual type of chapters then another two-part story. I've been making more like these, they're turning out pretty good. Better than this one at least.

The only thing is they're a real pain to edit.

If you have any requests, please do leave them in the comments of my latest update or send a message to me with all the details. I am currently working on the request of a second part to one of my previous chapters ('ESCAPING HYDRA').

Please remember I have a lot of work to and any new chapters won't be written as quickly as before. I still, however, have a few pre-written to upload.

I'm trying to space them out anywhere between 5-7 days, any later means I have forgotten or I'm doing my actual exams. I think it's probably better I focus on getting into a college than wasting my time writing these.

Don't worry though, when I am in college (gotta stay positive) I'll be updating, I have two completed stories going through beta readers just waiting to be published.

Let me know if you spot any mistakes so I can fix them right away and thank you all for reading.

I'll see you all (hopefully) in the next one!
