I watched as the porridge dropped off of my spoon in one big dollop. I had no appetite, but that didn't mean i didn't have to eat. I sighed, scooped up some more and spooned it into my mouth.
"What do you want for breakfast? " I asked danny, ruffling his hair. Jamie was waddling over to the table too.
"Jam on toast please. " he asked, concentrating on his phone. Even i didn't have one at that age! Pfft.
I looked to Jamie and she nodded.I made her her usual, coco pops with warm milk.
Once i got the kids to school i headed straight off to college. Its been 3 weeks since dad left, he should be coming back tomorrow. I'm doubtful. He's saying he's still got 2 weeks worth of jobs to do.
This day also marks 2 weeks of me and Tyson not speaking.. I didn't know where to start. My head was all over the place. I hardly ever thought about college. Only Tyson, my dad and the accident.
And what if my dad didn't return?
Hunter's first period was at 10, so he was catching a ride with Addison *insert bitchy voice here*. Even he didn't have much time for me.
"Class, today we will be dissecting a rabbit. " Urie held a rabbit up by his ears, most of the class cringed. I wasn't really paying much attention. That was until he slammed the rabbit down on my table and i jumped out of my skin. I stumbled backwards on my stool and Tyson caught my waist, hoisting me back up and letting go immediately. He too had gotten used to this deafening silence between us.
"Miss Franco " Urie smirked " This one is especially for you. "
I looked to him with a bored expression as he walked back up to the front.
"Weirdo " Tyson mumbled under his breath. It was the first time i had heard that deep rumble for a while. I embraced it.
"Got that right. " I cleared my throat and started to write down notes. Tyson didn't respond, i caught him staring down at the rabbit in terror. His skin was almost pure white.
"Please don't throw up. " I pleaded, a hint of a smile in my voice. His head snapped to me, shock was an understatement for the facial expression he was wearing.
"What? " I ask, taken aback.
"Its just... We haven't talked you know.. I've missed it. " He admit it. My heart seemed to be doing backflips.
"I know.. me too " I mumble in response. I look up to him and his eyes are bright again.
"Dan and Jamie have been asking where you are, its been doing my head in. " I smiled and he returned it. I looked down to the rabbit.
"We need to talk" There was no doubt when Tyson nodded. But this wasn't the time or place.
"You ready? "
"I'm ready"
"You got to meet Fall out boy?!" I almost yelled, but contained myself as the cafe was quiet.
"They are a band, like the one i'm in. " He raised an eyebrow, it almost sounded like jealousy.
"Yeah i know, and your band is great! Its just, i've been in love with Fall out boy since i was young! Ah man. " I sighed, slumping back in my seat. He's so lucky.
"So, you're telling me if i'd have sang 'this ain't a scene' after telling you who i am, you would have still spoken to me? " He let out a chuckle and i smiled broadly.
"Probably not. " I laughed "But if you would have brought them round to break the ice, i think i'd love you for that! "
Something in his eyes changed. His lips twitched and his eyes smiled. The warm blue turned excited. I sunk back under his gaze and let out a small laugh. He was slightly lean't forward in his seat.
