"Really?" I laugh with him, "How does that even happen?"
"It wasn't my fault! If my sister never dropped her pie, I wouldn't have slipped!"
"Yeah but how did the pie end up on your face?"
"I'd rather not say."
"Oliver!"
"Nope, I will not give in! Oh, by the way, you can call me Ollie. All of my friends do."
"We're friends?" I can't help but smile.
"I think at this point it's a given."
Oliver - Ollie - chuckles softly through the call.
"This is bad timing but I should probably get going. We've been talking for half an hour and I should probably get back to doing my job." Now Ollie is sighing.
"I guess that's true. I start work soon anyway."
"Sweet, I'll talk to you another time then?"
"Definitely and this time I wouldn't have just come from a cake escapade. Or so I hope I don't."
"Good luck," I giggle, "Bye, Ollie."
"Goodbye, Mace."
