-Chapter 4-

4th february 2019,

Yunhyeong as always, wakes up early and did his routine, looking very productive. He felt energised as he drank coffee. He packed his gym bag and went to school.

He revised for Mathematics since he had time and his best friends were not there yet. He was there with 2 other girls. He looked up and Soojin walked in right on time.

Yunhyeong stood in front of Soojin right before she was about to pass by, almost making Soojin bump into his masculine chest. She took a step back and showed her poker, bitch face.

"what are you doing ?" Soojin paused "is there something you'd like to ask ?"

as expected, he does have something to ask

"are you free today ? after school ?" Yunhyeong asked once he looked up from the ground after nodding to her question.

"why ?" Soojin didn't answer his question.

"i was just wondering, i have practice after school" Yunhyeong replied nervously without knowing why "i was wondering if you'd like to hang out after that"

"you'll stink, so i don't think so" Soojin crossed her arms.

"i'll take a shower" Yunhyeong tried to convince her.

"of course you will" Soojin pointed his gym bag "what's gotten into you ?"

"what do you mean ?" Yunhyeong scratched his head confusingly

"you keep on asking if i'm free" Soojin sighed silently

"i just want to get to know you" Yunhyeong paused and think of other ways to talk to her "can you help me with mathematics ?"

"you already know the answer" Soojin walked past him coldly and sat down at her table.

later, after school

Yunhyeong had practice and kept searching for Soojin. to see if she's around. He didn't pay much attention but he did well anyways. He's really good at multitasking so it's not shocking for the coach.

After a few minutes, they got a 5 minute water break from football. He sat down with Jinhwan and Chanwoo on the grass, drinking. He looked at the bleachers and saw her. she was drinking a cup of Starbucks, staring at him.

Yunhyeong smiled and waved his hands at her. She sighed and waved back without smiling.

Coincidentally, the cheerleaders were having their audition. Daisy was there and she saw Soojin. So, Daisy forced her on wearing the cheerleading outfit, showing off her skinny white legs. She looks beautiful.

every guy was looking at her, she's drop dead gorgeous.

"hey, hottie !"

"work those legs !"

the guys catcalled.

Soojin didn't feel comfortable so she changed back to her normal outfit. Daisy said the cheer coach welcomes her anytime, so whenever she feels like joining in, she could, without even auditioning.

Soojin went home quickly, she just wanted to visit for a while, figure things out. She couldn't understand why he's trying to talk to her and hang out with her. is he like the other guys ? making bets on her ?

later that night,

Soojin was bored at home, she finished everything already. She wasn't allowed to go out after 8 at night but she did anyways. She didn't care much about the rules. So, She walked around the small town, passing through cafes, restaurant, boutiques and more.

She was walking silently when she suddenly stopped. She turned around as she realised. but it was too late.

"ya~ Soojin !"

She sighed heavily and turned back around, saw Yunhyeong smiling widely while waving his hands, calling her over. She walked there and smiled a bit.

"you're out late ?" Yunhyeong started a conversation

"it's just 8:40 p.m" Soojin said as she looked at her watch "it's not that late"

"what were you doing ?" Yunhyeong asked and looked at her outfit "you're looking dressed up. any occasions ?"

"no, i'm just strolling around" Soojin replied confidently.

"well, since we're both in front of the movie theatre right now" Yunhyeong paused and looked at the ticket counter "shall we ?"

"i don't think i should" Soojin rejected.

"come on !" Yunhyeong exclaimed happily and looked into her eyes.

"fine.." Soojin sighed regretfully.

They watched a movie together with Soojin keeping distance. It was a great movie. They both enjoyed it. Yunhyeong stared at her suddenly during the movie. She looked back.

"what are you staring at ?" Soojin whispered, sounding annoyed.

Yunhyeong just shook his head no.

They both then went to a restaurant to have dinner at 9:45. They were some people there. Yunhyeong ordered some food and Soojin ordered some light food. He was still staring at her.

"seriously, can you not stare ?" Soojin rolled her eyes "you're making me feel uncomfortable"

"i'm sorry" Yunhyeong focused back at his food.

after 20 minutes, Soojin finished her food and stood up as she was in a hurry. Yunhyeong was still eating, taking his time. He stood up as well.

"i'll go now" Soojin started walking "i'll pay for the meals"

yunhyeong managed to grab her arm softly, stopping her from walking past him. She was acting strange. their eyes locked.

"you're leaving ?" Yunhyeong asked as he looked into her eyes.

"yes, clearly i am" Soojin got angry as she shove his arms off his grip quickly "can you not touch me ? you stared at me and now grabbing me, i feel uncomfortable"

Yunhyeong stayed silent.

"can you please let me slide away ? it's not that hard. so please, excuse me" Soojin sighed " i have to go"

He was left alone there, confused. He didn't know it'll make her snap just by touching her. He felt bad for Soojin. She's might be going through a lot. He left the restaurant alone, thinking about his mistakes.

but even so, something makes him feel attached to her. He still wants to ask if she wants to hang out and talk to her. He thought about her feelings and wanted to say sorry. She looked Annoyed of him.

was he going too far ? or did he crossed the lines ? his mind was puzzled and curious. He couldn't stop thinking, even though he took a walk home to get his mind straight.

So, he went to bed right after he arrived. it's the only way to forget about it.

He didn't know, later that night; around 12 a.m. Soojin visited him, once again. breaking in from his window. she stared at him sleeping peacefully and breathed out of relief. He's okay.

So, She decided to leave him alone, letting him rest. This time, She was careful. tried not to wake him up.

and she successfully escaped
