-Chapter 1-

it was the 2nd month of the year, 1st February. He's in his second last year in High school. which means, next year will be his last year. It was break time, everyone rushed out of the class to go to the canteen.

Yunhyeong went out of the classroom without the need of rushing. He walked normally to his locker which is not far away, followed by his two loyal friends, Jinhwan and Chanwoo. Yunhyeong opened his locker and placed all the books inside.

"ya~ do you guys understand what ms.seo said just now ?" Jinhwan started a conversation while Yunhyeong arranged his books.

"yeah,why ?" Chanwoo replied with a small smile " didn't you understand ?"

"i do, the others kept asking me a lot of things about it" Jinhwan paused and sighed "it's as if i'm the only one understanding it"

"you're not the only one, we both understand so don't be too proud" Yunhyeong joked around and slammed his locker shut, faced his friends who was behind him.

The hallway was a little quiet that time. Yunhyeong was about to walk to the canteen but when he twisted his head to the right, the hallway of the canteen. He met a girl's eyes, he haven't seen her before so it made him confused. She was with her friend, Jian. The girl was looking at him too with her light brown eyes.

Her existence was strange. She was the first girl that got into his mind.

"ya~ Song yunhyeong" Jinhwan snapped Yunhyeong out of his thoughts.

"are you not coming ?" Chanwoo raised his eyebrows.

"y-yeah, right behind you" Yunhyeong ran towards them, still staring at the mysterious girl.

They ate lunch at their usual table, joined by some other athlete friends, playboys and basically the cool kids. Yunhyeong's eyes scanned through every table while eating. He didn't know what he was searching for.

"she's not here.." yunhyeong's thought slipped out.

"what ? who ?" Chanwoo asked as he was confused by Yunhyeong's sudden words

"no, nothing"

she was on his mind every damn day, it made Yunhyeong more curious.

One day, Yunhyeong tried to get her out of his mind by going to the woods right behind his mansion.

Yunhyeong caught a pair of brown eyes as he walked through the woods. He then heard sounds of grass moving so quickly, as if someone ran. He shook his head to the direction then saw the girl he tried to forget. well, he doesn't know her at all, not even her name.

"w-who are you ?" yunhyeong with his deep voice asked bravely even though his heart was beating fast.

"what are you doing in the woods ?" The girl refused to reply him

"answer my question, who are you ?" yunhyeong repeated himself with a strong voice "what are you doing here ?"

"Soojin.." She said quietly with her eyes glued to his hazel eyes.

"what did you say ?" Yunhyeong couldn't hear her as it was as soft as a feather

"My name" She replied louder this time "it's Kim Soojin , now. what are you doing here in the woods ?"

"what are You doing here ?" Yunhyeong emphasised.

"is it wrong for me to go in the woods ?" Soojin tilted her head slowly as she took a step front

"yes, if you're alone" Yunhyeong looked down for a second then looked back up "you're a girl and it's not safe"

"so girls can't be in the woods ?" Soojin asked sarcastically and snickered "is that what everyone thinks ?"

"yeah, why would a girl be in the woods. it's odd" Yunhyeong paused for a second "or am i just imagining you right now. will you be gone once i close my eyes ?"

Yunhyeong closed his eyes shut, hoping it was only his imagination. he closed it shut for 5 seconds and opened it. She was gone. He was relieved.

"i'm still here, just so you know" She was behind him, few meters away.

Yunhyeong spun around and met her eyes once again. He was shocked, how could she run so fast without a sound.

"so, you're real" He paused and his pupils shook nervously "you're human and real ?"

"i guess i am" Soojin said and raised her brows a bit

"you guess ? how are you not sure ?" Yunhyeong asked sarcastically as it sounds ridiculous for him.

"you have to leave" Soojin ignored his sarcasm which triggered her a bit "go back to where you're from"

"why do i have to go ? what about you ?" Yunhyeong got confused

"just leave" Soojin said before she walked away to where she came from "Don't ever come back"

"but it's directly behind my house, how am i suppose to not come back ?" Yunhyeong tried to catch up with her but she was gone "Soojin ?"

Yunhyeong looked around. left to right, up and down. but she disappeared without a sound. it made yunhyeong curious and wondered how could she do such thing. it's fascinating for him. He ran his hand through his hair with frustration then, left the woods.
