Yunhyeong didn't went to school for three days straight after the incident in the woods. He needed space and some rest, he wasn't sick; even after letting the rain pour down, making him fully drenched. He stayed in his room, laid on his bed as he thought of Yejin every single day.
Her name kept repeating in his head. at first, he tried forgetting it but eventually gave up. He's still confused and sad. What's so different about them ? it's just their gender. right ??
Is her parents strict ? but even if they are, they wouldn't let her go out as often as she usually do. Maybe they don't want her to have guy friends ? that's why she doesn't have any and doesn't even try to make guy friends.
maybe she feels uncomfortable ? His sudden appearance in her life was a surprise to her. She's never close to guys. never ever. So she feels odd and uncomfortable with him clinging around her.
or maybe it's the fact that Yunhyeong's going to fast ? He wasn't planning on dating her but his actions were as if he likes her. He doesn't even know what he's feeling. would it be love even though they're not extremely close and their personality are total opposites ?
She should just let him in her life, maybe even take risks. Yejin's old enough to make her own decisions. but it seems like she's being control by her parents; more specifically, her father. Her father's being too harsh and protective. It's clear that she didn't grew up just like others.
meanwhile in school, Soojin attended every single day. She kept staring at Yunhyeong's empty seat. questions herself; where he could be. She felt bad and worried at the same time. It's odd to see him suddenly not around school. Day after day, Soojin kept waiting until she had enough of waiting. She let her worried feelings out of her chest.
When she went home after school, she had goals in mind already. She had plans and ideas. She walked in the house and instantly knew her father's in the living room, reading. She knew even before she arrived the front door. She walked up to him with a confident and strong look.
"i'm seeing him" Soojin let out her desire of seeing him.
"the boy ?" Her father closed his book and stared at her with his strong, laser-like eyes "what's so special and important about him ? you didn't fall for him right ?"
She kept quiet. She doesn't know if she's in love or she just miss his existence or she feels very bad. So she wandered off for a second as she tried to find a good reason.
"tell me you didn't fall for him.." He made it clear with his expression.
"i don't care. i am old enough to make my own decision, father. and i choose to see him today, right now" Soojin finalised her decision
"it's not a good idea, Soojin" He paused to take a deep breath "i just want to protect you, you know the consequences. you may be old enough but you still can't control. so until then, you listen to me"
"no, i make my own decision" Soojin shook her head "mother would agree with me, so i'm leaving"
"even if you leave, i can still track you down" Her father pointed the bracelet "so you better not go"
"well, too late" Soojin sighed "i'm leaving"
Before he could say more, She ran off as quick as lightning out of the house; to the woods. He couldn't run after her, she's unstoppable now. All he could do is find her location and bring her home.
meanwhile, Soojin arrived at the end of the woods, right behind Yunhyeong's house in just 4 minutes. She stared at his window, felt a quick nervous feeling in her stomach. once she's ready, she entered his room at broad day; by his window.
it was too quick to even realise she entered. but when he saw her, almost having her full body inside the room, he jumped off the bed; backed off. He wasn't expecting any visitors.
"S-Soojin ? is that you ?" Yunhyeong stuttered as he was still fazed.
"where were you ?" Soojin approached him and stood in front of him; looking into his eyes "why didn't you attend school ?"
"well, how'd you climb into my room ?" Yunhyeong asked back and pointed the window "entered using my window ? i swear it was locked"
"my question" Soojin ignored his questions and crossed her arms.
"i was here, i just need time to think" Yunhyeong looked down guilty "look, i don't know what i did wrong that you got very mad at me. i'm really sorry because i can't figure it out for the past 3 days"
He didn't get the chance to finish his small talk. She smashed her lips to his lips without thinking and hesitation. She just did it out of no where. It made him more confuse and shocked. why'd she do that ? she doesn't like skins ships.
"i'm sorry" Soojin breathed out as she parted away, moving a little further "i was harsh on you. i'm not a very good friend. i'm sorry you skipped school just to think about your mistakes"
Yunhyeong just listen to what she has to say.
"i swear, you won't understand me very well; once you get to know me really well. i really don't want to hurt you, it's for the best. we'll have to stay just as friends, nothing more. it's not good for you" She looked to the floor.
"you won't hurt me" Yunhyeong tried to calm her down.
"you don't know that" Soojin locked her eyes to him.
"im strong, you really won't" Yunhyeong tried again.
"i'm sorry, i've made my mind. let's not have anything more than friends" Soojin sticked to her decision "you'd be in danger"
"then ? why did you kiss me" Yunhyeong took a step closer with a confused look.
Soojin couldn't reply so she stayed silent. Her voice wouldn't come out for some reason.
"look, let's work this out. talk about it. i'll try my best to understand you" Yunhyeong said with a soothing tone, it calmed her down a bit.
"i'm sorry, i have to go" She said quickly then jumped out the window, landing directly on her feet.
before Yunhyeong could chase after her and look out the window for her, she disappeared as usual.
Soojin went home right after, arrived in 2 minutes only. She stopped at the front door, sensing her father's presence still in the living room. without feeling scared, she walked in. She knew he had something to say right away.
"i saw it" Her father mumbled.
"saw what ?" Soojin raised her brows and thought about the kiss.
"love.." He said slowy, sending shivers to Soojin.
"w-what do you mean ?" Soojin furrowed her brows as she was confused.
"i saw love both in you and him" He looked at her in the eye, without any expression.
"i don't love him" Soojin snickered.
"mouth can lie. but your heart doesn't lie" He paused "you're in love, daughter"
"how would you know ? when i know much more than you do" She asked.
"don't deny it, look at yourself first. you changed a lot" He sighed "just like when i met your mother"
"but that's you" Soojin still couldn't believe it "not me"
"say all you want, but listen to your heart" He pointed his own chest "i don't think you need that anymore"
He let go of the bracelet, left without saying anything else. Leaving Soojin confused there. She went into her room and listened to what her father said. She listened to her heart and found her answer.
What did she found ? read the next chapter !! late update, im sorry ehe
