The next day, 7th February 2019

Yunhyeong got to school early, very excited to talk to Soojin for some reason. He looks extremely good looking today, as if he fixed himself up more better than usual.

He kept staring at the classroom's door, hoping the next person entering's Soojin and get disappointed if it isn't. Jinhwan had to back to his hometown, Jeju for a while, to help his mother. Meanwhile, Chanwoo ? He's revising as always. such a good kid.

Yunhyeong kept waiting and waiting until Soojin walked in. He smiled widely and waved his hands at her. She waved back without an expression and walked past Yunhyeong as if he wasn't there. She looked more gloomy and blank, just like her old self.

it made Yunhyeong confuse. He though of his wrongdoings and starts to question his mistakes. He couldn't find a reason for her to be mad at him because they had a wonderful time, last night! that's what he thought.

He thought maybe she needs space away from him. Maybe she needs some time to think or needs some alone time. it worries him so much.

He approached her during break time, to check on her. He didn't bother her before break time. She was silent for almost the whole time, actually the whole time. He went to sat down with her at the park to ask if she's okay.

"hey~Soojin" Yunhyeong smiled excitingly to see her reaction to his positive energy and enthusiastic attitude.

"oh~hi" Soojin replied coldly.

"a-are you okay ? you seem a little down" Yunhyeong got straight to the point to be honest with her and not annoy her.

"yeah, i'm fine" She sighed heavily

"are you sure ? ya~if you have problems you can tell me" Yunhyeong offered in a friendly way.

"you wouldn't understand it anyways" Soojin muttered to herself but yunhyeong could still hear her.

"understand what ?" Yunhyeong asked back in return.

"oh~nothing" Soojin rejected "i'm okay"

"okay then, if you need a shoulder to cry on, i'm here for you, no matter what" Yunhyeong smiled a bit to cheer her up.

"thanks for asking" soojin didn't even smile back.

She must've been tired or annoyed of him. Nobody understands her well, so nobody knows how she truly feels or how her emotions are. not even her best friend, Wonyoung.

"do you want to hang out later ?" Yunhyeong offered so he could at least make her feel better "after school ?"

"maybe not" Soojin paused "i don't feel like hanging out today or ever actually"

"maybe next time i guess" Yunhyeong mumbled to himself "how about tomorrow then ?"

"i don't think so too" Soojin replied with a straight look. "you should probably go to canteen"

"what, why ?" Yunhyeong got confused by her sudden order.

"Chanwoo's looking for you" Soojin said as if it's normal, knowing things that are not clear or obvious to see.

"how'd you know ?" Yunhyeong looked around.

"just go, trust me" Soojin sighed and focused on her book, reading it in silence.

"arraseo~i'll be back" Yunhyeong stood up.

"don't be back" Soojin paused "i'll be fine"

Yunhyeong just nod and walked to the canteen. Chanwoo was actually searching for Yunhyeong, surprisingly. Chanwoo got a little worried about his favourite hyung.

later, after school

Yunhyeong got bored at home as he finished studying and doing his homework. He thought of Soojin and went out to the woods to check if she's around even though she said she doesn't feel like hanging out. Who knows, she might change her mind. which is a quite rare action for her.

He walked to the usual circle place and as expected, Soojin was there. She was just sitting on a log, with her head faced down as if she was crying. but of course she wasn't.

"knew you'd be here" Yunhyeong smiled as he saw her and walked towards her.

She looked up with a serious look and kept it straight insted of smiling back at Yunhyeong.

"look, i think it's best for you to stay away from me"

Yunhyeong got shocked by her sudden words. They were fine this morning and now she's suddenly telling him to stay away.

"you're nice and all, you did nothing wrong" Soojin paused " but it's me. i'm not good for you, i won't give you any benefits"

"what do you mean ?" Yunhyeong took a step closer as the situation got more serious.

"stay where you are" Soojin ordered "i don't want to hurt you, Yunhyeong"

"you didn't hurt me, not once" Yunhyeong obeyed her order and stayed.

"look, you don't understand-"

"then, make me understand, explain to me" Yunhyeong cut her off as he was worried and scared to lose her for no specific reason "i just want to be your friend"

"i don't need friends. you'll get hurt eventually, one day" Soojin paused "please, just leave and never come back to me"

"no~i can't do that" Yunhyeong insisted "i won't leave you just like that"

"just go~" Soojin looked down to the ground and sighed.

"just be honest with me Soojin, what are you hiding from me ?" yunhyeong looked at her with hope in his eyes "why are you avoiding everyone ? why won't you accept new people and try new things like others would ? why are you always wandering around in the woods ?"

"if i answer all the questions, would it help ? i don't think so" Soojin fought back "am i weird to you ? because if i am too weird for you, then you can just let me live my life and leave"

"i am not trying to change you" Yunhyeong sighed frustratingly "i just want to help you, i want to be your friend"

"i don't need you to be my friend, you're the one who's making these choices" Soojin replied coldly.

"yes, i know for sure, i want to be your friend and stay" He kept saying "i won't leave you"

" i really don't want to hurt you, Yunhyeong" Tears starts to fall from her eyes to her cheeks "so please, just leave"

"no, Soojin. i'm staying" Yunhyeong approached her quickly and wrapped his strong slim arms around her, hugging her tight.

it made her go crazy and angry. She tried to escape from his hug by trashing around but he wouldn't let her go. She's very strong so, she managed to escape after a couple more tries.

She cried more harder as the sky got darker. She ordered him to leave and ran away. She disappeared, as expected. it then suddenly rained. it made him sad so he eventually cried a bit.

He couldn't let Soojin go easily, so it hurts for him to just leave her like that. He felt the pain even though it wasn't a very big situation for him.

He cares for her so much.
