i don't care what you are

-Chapter 6-

6th February 2019,

Soojin looked tired today, Yunhyeong observed her and notice more odd stuff about her. She's one of a kind. Soojin knows that he's observing her but she doesn't care at all, even though she's a little annoyed.

guilt starts to rush in when Soojin remembered the incident yesterday. She was harsh and mean towards Yunhyeong who was so sweet and patient with her. She feels bad for once.

He's always around her, tried to make friends with her even though she's a pain in the ass. that is something beyond her knowledge. She doesn't know such patient, kind and humble guy like him exist. She thought maybe she should open up to him and go with the flow.

During Breaktime, Wonyoung went for the cheerleading audition which she tried to convince Soojin to join. She rejected the offer anyways, she sat alone at the swing, looking around the beautiful view of the school. she enjoyed the cool breeze of Seoul.

Yunhyeong once again, searched for her and walked towards her when he found her sitting alone. He sat down next to her, on the swing, where Wonyoung usually sit.

"where's Wonyoung ?" Yunhyeong asked to start a conversation, as always.

"she's auditioning for the cheer team" Soojin replied as she breathed out.

"you're still not auditioning?" Yunhyeong raised his brows.

"why should i ?" Soojin asked back, realised it sounds harsh and softened her expression.

"to stay in shape and be popular ?" Yunhyeong chuckled softly.

"no thanks" Soojin chuckled along "i'm not those type of girls"

"of course you're not" Yunhyeong nodded his head "are you okay ?"

"in what way ? physically or mentally or other terms ?" Soojin raised her brows.

"in general, are you okay ?" Yunhyeong asked again.

"why ? do i look sick ?" Soojin didn't reply, as always.

"you haven't reply my question" yunhyeong informed.

"answer mine first" Soojin demanded even though she knows the answer.

"you just seem kinda off, you disappear a lot, not socially active as in wanting to have new friends" Yunhyeong replied "so if anything's bothering you, you can always talk to me"

"i'm alright" Soojin chuckled a little "you don't have to care, it's just who i choose to be"

"well then, i want to be close friends with you" Yunhyeong proudly announce "please don't run away from me, i know i'm not that good and kind of annoying but please don't run away"

Soojin was speechless. then he snapped her out and she just smile a little.

"are you sure you're okay ?" he asked again and she just nod her head

"i'll try not to run away" Soojin paused "that's all i can say, and just know your space"

"right, you're not into skin ships" Yunhyeong chuckled adorably

"yeah. i can't promise to let you be my friends that easily" Soojin sighed and smiled "but i'll try"

"it's okay~take your time" Yunhyeong paused "you can't trust people that fast"

"so, i can't trust you ?" Soojin joked and raised her brows

"no~ i mean others except me" Yunhyeong exclaimed and laughed.

"what makes you special to get that treatment ?" Soojin asked sarcastically.

"ya~ that's hard to answer" Yunhyeong sighed playfully.
