Chapter 14

15th March 2019

Soojin fluttered her eyes open in confusion; she wasn't in her room. She looked around as she felt the warmth around her waist and the soft blanket over her. She then remembered what happened the morning, she fell asleep with Yunhyeong.

Soojin looked at Yunhyeong's sleeping face- his chest rising up and falling indicating he's breathing. She traced her finger across his sharp jaw, to his lips then moved her finger away.

She remembered her dear best friend and felt anxiety kicking in. she had to leave even though she wanted to stay in Yunhyeong's arm.

She placed two of her finger from both her hand-placing the 2 pairs finger on his both sides of his temples. as if she was reading his mind. She closed her eyes and saw his dream, it was his childhood. She wanted to tell him she's leaving. so she entered his dream instead of waking him up.

She then disappeared herself through his window, teleporting to an empty street instead of the hospital. She needed time to think and bought flowers with fruits. Soojin then strolled to the hospital, with music blasting in her ears.

She went to Wonyoung's ward and her parents were there. They saw Soojin and asked her to come over, seeing Wonyoung looking at Soojin with fear after seeing her abilities in the burning house.

"I can't thank you enough, Soojin" Her mother embraced her and smiled "we'll leave you two alone"

Both her parents left them alone. their eyes followed them as they left the room.

"what are you ?" Wonyoung sounded mad but scared at the same time "what did i just witness , Soojin ?"

"look this is gonna sound crazy" Soojin started and sighed.

"i don't care if it's crazy, you're my best friend.  no matter how ridiculous it is, i'd still believe you"

"this is unbelievable, i'm a half-goddess" Soojin paused to see Wonyoung's confused look "my father's a god, my mother's human. i am half but some of the gods and goddess gave their abilities to me. that's why i have a lot of abilities"

"who's the guy ? that you killed.." Wonyoung asked more.

"someone evil for sure, the titan's child. abilities of darkness. 3 siblings. they are all coming after the gods and goddess-that's my job to protect them" Soojin explained further "their suppose to come after them but they're coming after me instead"

"why'd you keep this away from me ?" Wonyoung sounded disappointed "i was your first-no, you're only friend ! you kept this away for years"

"i'm sorry,Okay ? it's not easy to admit and to come out as a monster..besides who believes in me anyways ??" Soojin replied quickly "i can't trust anyone, not even one"

"you can trust me" Wonyoung caught Soojin's panic eyes "from now, don't lie to me. please"

Soojin held her hand and nodded.

"thank you for understanding, Wonyoung"

Soojin left the hospital to let her injured best friend rest. her mind was still messed up so she decided to go home, calm things down. She teleported to the front door, instead of her own room. She stopped and stared to the ground.

She turned the handle and entered slowly. thinking her parents's asleep but they were actually in the living room. well, her dad was. He waited for her and stood up as soon as he saw her open the door.

"let's go.."

"w-what ? where ?" Soojin got confused.

"we're meeting the other gods and goddess" He stomped towards her with his real appearance, combat armour. "i heard what happened to your friend, that's not normal. and some gods went missing. we have not much time.."
