'Well done Allie now she thinks you are trying to hide something from her'
" So I suppose I was right and have someone in common?" She said with tap-dancing eyebrows. I moaned.
"Noo!" I said with recent disbelieve in my voice." I'm not even looking for someone, nor did I saw someone I fell in love with at first sight, you have to stop thinking I would someday have a boyfriend, because I will live with my ten cats and five dogs in a sweet cottage somewhere where I can have the sea and coniferous forests on mountains at the same time."
" I don't believe you, everybody wants to experience love in their life. And you can't tell me you are not one of them" Cassie disagreed with me.
" To be honest Cassie, I don't even think I am able to love. Sure I had multiple crushes, but more than 60% were book characters and the other few didn't even know I existed, and quite apart from that those were only crushes." I tried to explain the situation to her, but she kept shaking her head.
"Allie, Allie, Allie, you poor little thing, you can keep on trying to persuade yourself but it won't work, let me tell you that you will someday find your missing piece and that you will be the happiest you have ever been in your life. When that happens I will be happy for you but you will also hear the words 'i told you so' for the rest of your life." Now she finally did it, she scared the hell out of me, but great thank you very much for your mental support, I didn't get. I snorted and ate my biscuits.
"Oh come ON Allie, you know I love you, but you have to stop being so inhibited and uptight" Cassie said. "No thank you I don't need anyone, I am an independent woman and I can take care of myself, also do I not need a broken heart like every other person in this world." I hissed. Now I was pissed, but just a tiny little bit. "Of course you don't need a man, no one does, but I think with deleting love out of your life to protect your heart from being broken you will break it, without anyones help just by your self" she said with a sad tone in her voice looking me in the eyes, begging me to understand her point. I did, I understood what she said but I didn't take it as siriously as I should have. " Alright yes I understand your point, but let's just forget about that, I will not close my heart and I won't ignore feelings I might get, but please let us just have fun together celebrate you come back." I didn't mean what I said, I would ignore feelings, but I wanted her to feel better so I just said this as sirious as I could and because we just met each other after more than half a year and one of the first things we do is discussing my non existent love life. That couldn't be healthy.
"Thank you" was all she said at first, she was thinking about something when she started smiling and her eyes started shining like little stars. "I have an idea, we two" she pointed to herself and to me" we will go to a house party tonight. Tony invited us and we could celebrate my birthday 4 months ago, because we couldn't see each other" she looked at me expactendly. " Alright but just because of your birthday and because you just came back" I agreed " and if I can go anytime i want" that was my condition. " Okay but you have to at least try and stay one and a half hours, deal?" "Deal!" 'That would be fine, although I don't like party's and a lot of people my age, that could be alright, but just because I know that I can run away whenever I want'. " Thank you, you are a true angel without wings" Cassie said and hugged me over the table.

We finished eating and after we talked a bit about college and her year in Germany we paid and went home. Because of the party she was coming directly to me, so we could get ready together.
