They reached home and saw both the men sitting with a worried face. As soon as they saw Nandini, Raj rushed to her and cupped her face saying, 'Sugarplum, what happened? Itni urgency mai kyu bulaya? Everyone smiled seeing her control the situation like a pro. She knew, it wasn't the right moment yet and they had to keep themselves calm and sorted before talking to them. They all moved to the dining table and were happy, but were equally tensed which was noticed by the elders but they kept quite and waited for them to talk to them and let them know the issue. Somewhere inside, they knew it was something serious because the kids have never demanded to meet so immediately with all of them present. They were scared, but they trusted their kids.

Soon after lunch, everyone settled down on the sofa with Manik, Mukti and Alya on one sofa, Cabir, Navya and Dhruv on one and the elders on one. Abhi stood beside their sofa and Nandini sat on the table in front of the elders and took a deep breath, 'Um, jo main abhi bolne wali hoon, please don't get any of us wrong? They couldn't believe that their daughter went through so much, and were actually feeling proud of the way the boys had dealt with the situation. Mukti got back with water and Nandini took two glasses and gave it to Raj and Raman.

She held Raj's hand and said, 'Papa, I understand your concern, but we can't take the law in our hands na? Now I know from where Manik got his temper issues *rolling her eyes* Papa, you know Manik would have been in great great trouble agar he would have taken things in his hand.' Raj sighed because he knew she was right. He cupped her face and said, 'But baccha you should have come and talked to us na? Didn't you feel we had the right to know?'
Nandini frantically nodded her head in a no and said, 'You had and have all the rights Papa. We just didn't know it would get so serious. And I think for the first time, I'm so proud of how all my friends have dealt with the situation. Little less of physical violence and more of following the law.
