After everyone dispersed home, after assuring that Nandini is okay, Abhi took her to his room and hugged her asking her if she is okay. She just nodded in assurance. She said, 'Bhai, I'm sorry mein aise gaayab ho gayi. Mujhe samajh hi nahi aaya mein kya karu, how should I get all of us out of this situation.'

Abhi looked at her confused since he had no idea about anything. He asked, 'What situation baccha? I don't know what are you talking about and I need to know about it now. I promise I'll make everything fine. Tera bhai idhar hi khada hai to protect you.' She smiled lightly and told him everything about the message. He was shocked and asked her to show the message. She did and made a hard face and said, 'I know who this person is. Yeh koi ladki nahi hai Nandu, it's a boy and I'm hell sure about it. Hold on.' He said this and called Manik.

Manik who was constantly trying to figure out who this person was when Abhi's call came. Abhi didn't greet and asked him if he found out who the person was. Manik said, 'No Abhi, this person has very smartly done this job. I am sure he is someone close to us because it is impossible for any one to get hum sab ka location considering we have all of this covered by the bouncers. Ugh, it's getting all too frustrating considering I have to plan for Nandini's birthday also which is barely 10 days away.'

'Manik, don't worry about this because I am 90% sure about who this person is. I am dead sure it is a boy.' Abhi said to which Manik's doubt came true and he said, 'I was telling Nandini the same thing that this person isn't a girl. Yeh sab ek ladki ke liye karna mushkil hai.' Abhi said, 'Exactly. I know the person kyuki a few days back when I was in college, I heard a guy nearly say the same things to his friend saying he will text her. Now at that point I didn't know who the person was so obviously I just got past that. But now I know who was it for. Let's finish this story in college tomorrow.' Manik seemed confused and asked, 'Abhi par woh hai kaun? Kya hum usse jaante hai?' Abhi smirked and said, 'Of course jaante hai mere bhai, I'll tell you who it is in college tomorrow.'

Manik just kept the call because he knew Abhi has the situation in control. He texted Nandini which read "Hey, sweetheart. Don't worry about anything alright? We are protecting all you girls, you needn't worry. Plus, tumhara Manik hai na tumhare saamne khada hai, koi touch bhi nahi karega tumko. Don't worry, babygirl. We have got you covered. Get some sleep, we will talk in college, alright? Good night, sleep well kiddo. *kissing emoji*.😘"

Nandini read that message and sent him a good night and went to sleep considering she barely got sleep last night. She was hoping next morning would just erase most of her problems and she could just be genuinely happy and wouldn't have to put up a fake smile in front of anyone or even herself. She seemed exhausted with that. She did not want to be a upset anymore. She desperately just wanted to smile and he happy with people trying to give her immense happiness. She wanted to get rid of negativity.

Next morning, Abhi and Nandini left for college together. After reaching, he sent Nandini to class because he did not want her to deal with situation when her brother and boyfriend were there to protect her. He called Manik and asked him to wait at the jam room till he gets the guy. Abhi came after 5 minutes dragging a guy by his collar and entered the jam room where Manik was waiting for Abhi. As soon as he entered, Manik was shocked seeing him. It was Madhyam, his family friend. Manik help his collar and shouted, 'How the fuck did you even think you can fuck around with Nandini? Didn't you bloody know we wouldn't find out who would do it? Don't you know me enough that I will not spare you? Oh wait, why me, let dad deal with you.' Madhyam was scared since this issue was going to their dad. He tried to ask Manik to not do it, but Manik being Manik did not listen to him. He called Raj and explained him the entire situation. Raj asked him to leave it on him and get back to classes.

It's been 3 days since he spoke to Raj and no one ever spoke about it ever again upon Raj's instructions. He dealt with the situation by himself and didn't want anyone to talk about it again. After that, Manik has been busy planning for Nandini's birthday. She pretended like she wasn't excited but deep down she was still a kid when it came to birthday. Gifts, balloons, cakes and surprises still astonish her as though she is a 3 year old child.

Manik wanted to make sure he does everything in his capability to make her day the most special. He has his plan ready and he had told Nandini that he has no plan since office has kept him busy and he wasn't sure if he will be available that day since some important clients are coming to office and he had to be there. Nandini had to believe it because she herself heard Raj say this to Manik, on Manik's insistence. Raj was denial about it since he did not want Nandini to get upset but knowing Manik's plan and Mukti's puppy face he had to agree.

It was finally the night before her birthday, Manik had executed his plan. Abhi took her to office saying a few signatures had to be made. He got them on some random papers. After that he took her for dinner and dessert. Nandini seemed a bit low so Abhi decided to talk to her though he knew what the issue was. He asked, 'Doll, what's wrong? I've been seeing you for 4 days now and you have been very low? Wapis kuch hua?' Nandini nodded in a no and said, 'Woh, Bhai. Actually, Manik said he will not be there on my birthday mostly, because there are a few clients and he is handling the deal. I know I don't have the right to be upset since he has a very valid reason, but kya karu, he is my boyfriend now and I wanted it to be speacial with him.'

He smiled and said, 'Tu jaanti hai Mukti ke saath the 2nd birthday that we all celebrated, usne mujhe next day bohot maara, kyuki I could not be there on her birthday if you remember. I was travelling from Delhi, to visit and important client on dad's behalf. But, I later on made it up to her. Trust me, I know Manik ko kaisa lag raha hoga to not be there with you, but I also know he will not let this be, he will make it up to you.' Nandini nodded and smiled. It was already 11:45 and it would take them 10 minutes to reach home so Abhi decided to leave soon. They cleared the bill and left. Abhi intentionally drove a little slow. At 11:59 they reached home.

Nandini entered home and was completely dark, weirdly. She thought Raman and Ishita slept and got slightly dejected but let it be. She removed her footwear and moved to the hall and switched on the light. As soon as she did she saw Fab-5, Navya, Raman, Ishita, Raj and Nyonika and they all shouted Happy birthday. She nearly had tears in her eyes. Manik moved forward and hugged her and whispered in her ear, 'Happy birthday, babygirl'. Nandini hugged him tight and a few tears rolled down her eyes.
