She was looking drop dead gorgeous. Just some nude lipstick and a sleek eyeliner. She looked perfect. She didn't need makeup to look beautiful. Nandini was totally checking him out, who was wearing a black plain t-shirt with blue jeans. Manik in daze walked to her, who was on the last step of the stair.
He put his one arm around her and Nandini closed her eyes feelings his warm hand around her back while he put the other hand on her cheek caressing it while saying, 'You look so so gorgeous.' She smiled and said, 'Thank you. And you look good too.' He smiled and put out one of his hand for her.
She smiled and placed her hand on his and they walked out. He, like a gentleman, opened the car door for her and closed it as well after she settled down. He ran to the other side and sat on his seat. Nandini said, 'Being chivalrous, are we?' Manik smiled while starting the car and said, 'Well, I have a girlfriend now, so gotta be this way. Besides I have always been this way for you.' She smiled and increased the volume of the radio. Manik was humming to song but suddenly he said, 'Nandini, we have been friends for so long, but I don't know anything about your childhood. I wanna know.' She smiled and said, 'Sure, I'll tell you. Like whenever we get ample amount of time to sit and talk.' He smiled saying, 'Waise, I am so so glad Ishi maa and Raman papa decided against going to Delhi. What would I have done without them.' She frowned a little and said, 'What about me? You'd have been okay with me going?'
