"Chapter 29"

Chapter 29:The Date

Zen's POV,

"Pupunta si Christian dito?Naku,magluluto lang ako..Ay wait kailangan low in carbs. Kailangan mag-ingat sa body ng model ko,"sabi ni mommy tsaka tarantang pumunta sa kusina.

I sighed. Nagooverthink lang si mommy. Ang OA niya promise,

*Dingdong*

Halos madulas na si mommy kamamadaling lumabas ng kusina ng may marinig na nag doorbell.

"Si Christian na ba?" tanong ni mommy. I rolled my eyes.

"Mom,I thought you were cooking,ako nang bahala sa nag doorbell,magluto ka na po,"sabi ko tsaka pumunta sa may pinto. Bago buksan,tumingin muna ako kay mommy na bumalik na sa kusina.

When I open the door,tama si mommy,si Christian nga.

"Are you ready?"he asked.

Well,kung nagtataka ang lahat,ieexplain ko na. Siya lang naman ang nanalo sa sack race. Ewan,sinapian siguro yan ni Flash kaya bumilis. Basta,siya ang nanalo.

"Uhm,yeah. Gutom ka ba? Nagluluto si mommy,pumasok ka muna,"sabi ko pero hindi siya pumasok.

"I want to but we cant eat to the resto anymore coz were full already,"he said then smile.

"You're right. Sasabihan ko si mommy,sandali lang,pumasok ka muna,"sabi ko sa kanya.

"Kay.Thanks,"sabi niya tsaka pumasok sa likod. Christians weird sometimes. He always smiles kapag ako lang ang kausap niya pero kapag may ibang tao naka poker face lang siya. Hes bipolar I think?

Agad-agad akong pumunta sa kusina at nakita ko si mommy na nagluluto.

"Mom-"hindi ko natapos ang sasabihin ko when mommy cut me off.

"Is Christian there?" tanong ni mommy pero hindi siya nakatingin sakin.

"Yes mom.Uhm-"

"Tell him sandali nalang ito,"she said habang naghahalo ng niluluto niya.

"Mom,we'll eat outside,"sabi ko kaya napatigil siya tsaka tumingin sakin. Is she mad alredy?

"Sige.Mamaya nalang ito,"sabi niya tsaka ngumiti.

"Really?"I asked.

"Oo naman. Go now,"sabi niya still looking at me.

"Thanks mom! youre the best!"sabi ko and kiss her on cheeks.

"Ingat ha,"pahabol niya.

"I will!"pahabol ko ring sagot tsaka lumbas para harapin si Christian.

"What did your mom said?"he asked then stand.

"Tara na,"I said,smiling.

"Okay,"

*Restaurant*

"Wow!!! Namiss ko to!" sabi ko habang nakatingin sa mga Japanese food.

"Don't tell this to your mom or else.."he said. I chuckled.

"I know,lets eat na?"I asked. He nodded.

"Itadakimasu!"sabay naming sabi tsaka nagbow sa pagkain. Well,ganon lang ang mga Japanese. Feelingero kami eh hahaha. Pero isa ito sa magandang tradition nila. Marunong silang rumespeto even sa pagkain.

*After 5 Hours..*

"Thanks sa pagkain ha," I said while we were walking.

"Welcome,"he said then smile.

"Christian..Sorry,"sabi ko tsaka napayuko. He look at me,worried(base on my peripheral vision).

"Why?"he asked.

"Sorry sa nangyari before...mas prinaioratize ko ang-" he cut me off.

"Its not your fault okay,Zen,look at me,"he said. My eyes widened and I slowly look at him.

"I love you Zen.Noon,at ngayon,It will still be you in my heart,no matter what,"he said seriously.

One thing about Christian.Hes straight to the point. If he wants to say something,he will say it.And,damn!Sa sinabi niya,parang umurong ang dila ko.

"Cmon,ill show you something,"sabi niya and pull me.

*Parking*

"Where are we?"I asked.He smile.

"We will meet someone,special to me too,"he said then open the door of the car. He open mine's too,and I go outside.

This place is so familiar...saan ko ba ito nakita?

He started walking and I just follow him. Nang makapasok sa loob,my eyes widened.

Now I know why this place is familiar,

"Were here,"he said at napatingin ako sa harap namin.

"Who is she?"I asked habang hindi inaalis ang tingin sa nasa harap naming.

"Zen,meet my mother,"he said. I look at him. Parang maiiyak na siya.

"Mother?Your mother is.."hindi ko na natuloy ang sasabihin ko. Ayoko ituloy. Baka masaktan siya.

"Yes.One year ago. She fought Zen,but its not enough.Sorry,you didn't meet her when she was alive. Strikto si mommy eh. Pero,he likes you. When Im telling her about you,she always smiles. She said before,Youll be my wife soon but im not sure about it."sabi niya. Nakita ko na may tumulong luha sa mata niya. And this is the first time I see him cry.

"Sorry to hear that,Christian,"I said.

"That's fine.At least you already meet her,"he said then smile at me.

I look at his mother's tomb. This is the date I will never forget.
