Warning: This chapter has stronger language.

"Christa! I didn't mean any of it! I'm sorry! Dammit!" I slammed my fist against the door. I couldn't take the thought of losing her. I came here to win her back, and I didn't plan on leaving until I do so.

"Christa, you mean the world to me. Please give me another chance. I lo-." I thought about I was about to say. I can't ruin anything more with her. Our friendship was already doomed, and I can't keep digging my own grave.

"Christa, I started digging a hole, and no matter how many times I was told to climb out before I dug too deep, I kept digging. Eventually I couldn't get out of it, and I kept digging until I hit rock bottom, and then I scratched it." (A/N that line was stolen from the book "Warm Bodies." no credit taken.)

"You stitched your name in my heart and it eventually became a part of me. When you ripped your name out, I started to bleed, and now the bleeding won't stop."

There was silence. I was talking to myself. I sat down and leaned my head against the wall. Eventually I think I fell asleep.

I woke up around five in the morning due to how cold it was. A blanket was wrapped around me with a glass of water next to me.

I wobbled when I stood up and eventually caught my balance. I stepped off the porch and headed home.

I passed out on my couch. About and two hours later, I was awoken by a few knocks on the door. It took me a minute to adjust and eventually sat up pulling my feet off to the side.

I opened the door. "You really got to me night. You're super poetic you know." Before I could say anything, she hugged me. It felt good to have her in my arms. "Wanna get breakfast?" I asked. She nodded.

It was about noon when we were sitting in my living room. Christa was reading. I had my arm flung over my eyes, leaning over the arm of my chair.

I heard a knock on the door. I mumbled under my breath. It was Lena. I stepped outside. "What?" I asked. "What do you mean what? I'm here to apologize." "Yeah, yeah, apology excepted." I rolled my eyes. "I'm going to be straight up. I'd like to get back together."

"You can't be serious." I looked pissed. "Ymir, I still love you." "Please don't give me that bullshit. I'm sorry Lena, I have better things to worry about." "I turned around to see Christa opening the door.

"Oh, is that so? You don't want to get back together because of her?!" "Yes, That's right." Christa grabbed my hand. My face felt hot and turned a bright pink. "You whore. Fuck you." She turned on her heels and walked off.

"Uh, thanks for having my back there." Christa smiled. "No problem." She returned to her book.

I was laying in my bed. Christa had gone home. 'I think I'm going to ask her out." It was hard not to hold her hand or put my arm around her, because she means so much to me.

My phone rang. "Hello!" Christa sounded excited. "There's a party next Friday. Are you in?" I rolled my eyes. I hated parties, but I knew if I didn't go she wouldn't either. She never told me why. "If you're in I'm in." "Yay! It's at Jean Kirstein's house this time. Thanks!" I hung up.

Just great. Another party. I looked at the ceiling dreading all of it. I needed to know why she feared parties without me.
