it was the next day and jungkook had looked through the portraits countless times, taking in every detail of the artwork that was in front of him.
everyone had a certain style so whoever drew these had one too, some kind of signature, a unique detail that shows that it's their work and no one else's.
maybe a small signature of a name? drawn details? their art style in general? but these drawings were realistic, capturing every detail. there wasn't anything unique about the illustrations, they were just realistically drawn pictures of jeon jungkook. really good ones at that.
after spending hours on his bed the night before, scanning each individual line, every gradient, every pencil mark, every erased marks that were visible to the eye, jungkook found nothing. no hints to who the portraits belonged to.
he's close to asking his own art teacher to look over the illustrations since he has seen every students individual work, has studied them over and over again and pointing out little details that could make them better but, of course, jungkook was too much of a coward to say anything to anyone about this, just in case it got out and the person who had done the drawings would run off before jungkook would be able to catch them and it would also be embarrassing to just ask your teacher about someone's work and then have them question jungkook on the illustrations.
sighing, jungkook carried on painting that stupid glass bottle, his thoughts running off as he clicked shuffle on a random playlist.
