The trip to Europe was getting boring by now and they were just walking around an old building, she just wanted to go shopping with MJ for a dress and forget about everything that happened last night

"Hey what are you doing out here?" She jumped at the voice noticing Peter on the entrance to stairwell before relaxing again "same to you"
"Oh, well Ned was snoring and it was really getting to me tonight so I came for some fresh air"
"I just like the night sky"
"Sounds romantic" you laughed gently at him as he walked towards you already wrapping you up in his coat without even thinking about it

"Thanks"
"No problem" he smiled at you softly as you both moved to sit on the ledge and gaze at the skyline "hey Pete" you looked at him his eyes whipping to yours, you already forgot what you were going to say just by how pretty he looked in the moonlight

His face lit up gently and his eyes reflected off the large orb int he sky, his features were soft but emotionless as he stared at you waiting for a question "I-I forgot" he laughed shaking his head still looking at you

"You're adorable"
"Don't say that! You'll make me blush!" He laughed harder as you covered your face in his coat, Damn he smelt good

"You look pretty in the moonlight" he muttered to himself looking back to the view making you blush harder "you look pretty too" he laughed again moving closer to you

"Hey pe-" he was already looking st you with a soft look that you couldn't pinpoint, he moved forwards until his lips were on yours and you sighed a little bring your sleeve covered arms to rest on him, he pulled back smiling for a while before looking panicked and rushing away leaving you with his coat

"Okay whats got you so down" Michelle finally asked as you stared solemnly at the dresses "me and Peter kissed last night"
"WHAT!" She screeched getting looks from some of the class mates that had also come into this shop "and then he ran off"

"He was probably just nervous"
"Or he regretted it"
"Or that yeah, you can't hate him too much since you've got his coat on" she pointed out making you look yourself over and notice that you were indeed wearing his coat

Well damn, that must look weird

"I guess I put it where my coat usually is"
"Sure you did, I saw you staring at it for five minutes this morning"
"I literally don't remember that at all" she chuckled rolling her eyes and passing you a dress "go try that on, it'll get Peter's attention"

The dress you bought was a pale champagne colour and had sleeves that glided swiftly over your hands, it suited you well and you did your make up to match

The room that was to hold your 'ball' was large and had multiple classes from your school in it, the teachers made you get in a circle and trade partners for every song until you found someone you wanted to dance with for the rest of the ball

And sure enough, you eventually switched to Peter, you were both staring at your feet as he gripped your waist tightly, he'd seen you stumble over some peoples feet and made sure you wouldn't fall

"You look pretty" he whispered getting a little closer than he was previously "You look pretty too Pete" he smiled softly before frowning remembering how he ran off "I'm sorry I ran off"
"It's okay"
"I meannnnn not really"

You laughed quietly finally looking up to meet his eyes, his features immediately softened seeing your done up face up close "wow" was all he said before dragging you out of the circle to his table

"Oh are we sticking together then?" He patted his lap for you to sit down and you eyed him curiously but did as told placing yourself on his legs, he lifted you so all your weight was on him then relaxed into his chair

"I ran off because I was nervous"
"That's What Michelle said" you laughed as he blushed knowing someone else knew, with out noticing he slipped his hands round your waist and gripped you tightly once more

"Can we try that kiss again?"
"Are you gonna run off?"
"I'll try not to" he teased smiling before you leaned in and kissed him softly before pulling away again

He didn't say much just smiled "You look good in lipstick Parker!" Flash called making your eyes flick to the nude lipstick that was now pressed to his face "Thanks it's the shade suck my ass" Flash sent him a thumbs up laughing with Liz

As the night went on it became more of a party and less of a ball, Peter had disappeared some time ago but you weren't bothered by it "let's go take photos on the roof!" The small group of you, Ned, MJ, Flash and Liz agreed to go up to the roof spotting Peter sitting peacefully on the ledge once again

You walked over wrapping your arms round his shoulders "you said you wouldn't run off" you laughed when he turned and kissed your cheek "it was hot"
"It's freezing up here, you've been here for hours"
"Guess I'm just super warm, here" he handed you his suit jacket and you took it gratefully

"Are you two just gonna flirt or take photos" you laughed again taking his hand and walking over to the group posing for the timer waiting for the flash

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Peter whispered in your ear
"Yeah" he smiled widely as the camera went off, that was now your wallpaper
