You had all grown bored of this field trip long before that exact moment but there was really no way for you all to go back

This morning you all woke up so excited to go trekking and camping in the woods but after about 5 hours of trekking some began to grow bored and tired, and that kind of attitude is contagious

"Sir, how much further do we have to walk, all this grass looks fine to camp on"
"It may do but it's not the camp site, if you'd quit whining we'd get there faster"
"But it's almost dark and we're hungry"

You, Ned, Peter, MJ, Flash, Betty and Liz all formed a somewhat circle at the back of the group, none of you were complaining so to speak you were just silently taking steps in time with the others

"See look, we're here" a chorus of groans erupt from the surrounding class as half of you collapse on the floor and the other half collapse on each other

Peter hasn't spoken for what seems to be like 3 hours, Sure he's not as bothered as it thanks to his super powers but you can still tell when he's exhausted and that is the face of a boy who needs a nap

After almost an hour of trying to get the tent up and failing you get there in the end with help from the other group that had grown bored of watching you fail at it

"You okay?" You ask finally sitting next to your boyfriend who just grunted in response laying his head on your shoulder "you tired?" He grumbles again this time grabbing your hand softly, he was 100% going to fall asleep in the next 20 minutes

Ned ran over to the campfire with the marshmallows he bought seeing as you made your own campfire for the circle of tents you'd created

"Nedster I love you more and more each day" he smiles proudly handing out sticks he finds nearby, everyone is chatting and laughing contentedly whilst you watch and roast marshmallows for you and your sleeping boyfriend

"Pete" he grumbles "Peter" this time he ignores you "I roasted you a marshmallow" his eyes open a little this time as he searches for the food you're giving him, once he finds it his eyes do actually open fully and he looks excited

"Thank you" he mumbles through a marshmallow filled mouth shuffling back down to your shoulder just keeping his eyes open to look at the surrounding people

"The walking was shit but this isn't so bad" you laugh at his sudden statement glancing at your friends who are illuminated by firelight and laughing at something stupid Flash said whilst you were all walking and too tired to care

"Honestly, I still don't know if it was worth it" he just shakes his head lightly laughing at you because you're an idiot but now you're his idiot under the stars with your friends

I forgot where I was going with this so I just wrote some bullshit ending I'm sorry
