Oh Jesus Christ did Peter hate school, for the past month Flash has constantly been making remarks about Ben but not too obvious that the teacher would pick up on it

He was sat in English when he heard it once more "god why won't he just get over it" his eyes snapped over to Flash and some loser from the grade above that hadn't passed this class

He saw you tense in the corner of his eye but ignored it, you were probably just getting annoyed by them constantly staring at you "aww look his little girlfriend is getting all angwy"

You snapped your eyes over to Flash in such a threatening manner that even he faltered for a moment before you turned back to Peter and smiled sadly "it's okay to be sad, ignore him he's just mad cause his parents are getting a divorce and it's his fault" you said slightly too loud watching Flash grow red with anger Peter smiled softly down at his work

"Thanks" You pat his shoulder and go back to your notes sitting in a comfortable silence for the rest of the lesson

There was shouting coming from the other end of the corridor and a crowd forming round a mop of hair that no doubt belonged to Peter "What you gonna do now Parker where's your girlfriend"

He just stood there staring down at the floor whilst Ned stood off to the side cringing, you shoved through the crowd staring Flash down "oh look here she is, what's she gonna do now" a bunch of boys grabbed you and held you in place

You saw the anger flicker across his face but he refused to punch someone "goddamn it Parker" you muttered before elbowing the first guy and shoving him back with your shoulder, you punched the second guy who fell against a locker and knocked himself out

The third guy just let go and backed off as you turned back to Flash "move away" he challenged you and stepped closer to Peter, you stormed forwards and shoved him back grabbing Peter's hand and then Ned's dragging them out of school

"Holy shit!" Ned yells making Peter jump softly "Pete did you see that" he nodded smiling softly and Ned frowned "I gotta go my mom wants me to clean my room, I'll see you tomorrow" Peter nods and waves slightly frowning harder

"Come on, I'll walk you home" he looked shocked for a moment before saying "you really don't have to"
"I know but what are you gonna do if you get mugged" you smiled at him making your features look softer for his eyes that saw everything harshly

"Come on then, you lead the way" he nodded again beginning his trek to the subway, it was silent for the most part besides you saying something quietly every now and again

You sat on the train whilst he stood directly in front of you, he looked very tense all of a sudden when he noticed Flash get on at the other end of the cart "do you wanna sit down?" You asked gently

He thought about it for a few moments thinking what would happen if he saw him and that he didn't want you to start fighting someone on a crowded cart before nodding

You slowly circled each other until he sat in the seat and now you stood in front of him keeping your head down "HEY LOOK ITS Y/N" You cringed seeing how some people had moved slightly and he could now see your head through the crowd

"Move your arms"
"What?"
"Just move your arms Pete" he obliged opening his arms as you sat in his lap keeping your head down hoping to god you wouldn't have to punch him in the face

Peter just kind of stared at the back of you for a small while before sighing and placing his arms round you sitting back "Thanks" you muttered to him as you stepped of the train grabbing onto his arm as he continued to walk quickly
