The whispers grew louder and louder. You grew impatient on the throne, Namjoon right beside you with Seokjin on the other side. Yoongi and Hoseok stationed at the pillars on either side of the throne. Namjoon placed a hand on your shoulder to make you more relaxed. Despite his efforts, it still didn't stop you from being mad.

"Your Highness, as much as we respect your decision, we think you should consider another candidate." Official Han said. "The people might take issues with...him."

"His name is Kim Namjoon, Head of Relation to Japan and the love of my life. And I will marry him. When he was still Prince, the people loved him. Nothing has changed since then." you declared in a strong voice, it echoed throughout the room. The whispering stopped.

"Your Highness."

"My father married my mother because of love. He went against his father's wishes to be with the woman he loves. I will do the same. No longer will power control my family. I hope you'll agree with me." Some officials murmured, but for the most part, they gave you sincere smiles.

"Yes, your Highness." they chanted at the same time. "It will be the wedding of the century." Official Han added. The meeting was dismissed soon after. Namjoon breathe out a sigh of relief. He picked you up and pulled you in for a tight embrace. He took a deep breath, breathing in your scent.

"Thank you for fighting for us." he whispered.

"I would do anything for us. And I know you would too." you smiled, kissing him on the cheek. Seokjin coughed from behind.

"Alright break it up, lovers, let's go. We have work to do." he said, waving at you to join him. You groaned, it was a day you dreaded. Documents and reports from all over the country were sent in earlier this week for you to review. Things from budget to regulations to statistics. Normally, it meant that you would have to sit in your office for days, uninterrupted and no distractions to read every word and respond personally. And normally, you would be fine with it because there wasn't anything else to do. But now, you wanted to spend every second with Namjoon. He did offer to stay with you, of course he'll be doing his own work. You agreed, even just his presence will make you feel better.

The doors closed behind you and you were ready to get to work. Seokjin went back to his room to give you and Namjoon 'privacy'. Hoseok was outside while Yoongi took a nap on his lap. Before you could reach your desk, Namjoon grabbed your wrist and spun you to face him.

"Well hello there." you said, giggling.

"Fighting! I believe in you." he said. Then he closed the distance between your lips. His were soft, and warm. He moved with careful precision. You opened up to allow his tongue in. It made your knees go weak. His arms looped around you waist and held you up. Your hands went around his neck, they were stiff. Namjoon pulled your body up and sat you on your desk, you legs went to wrap around his torso. His hands then moved to cup your face, he pulled back from the kiss, breathless, but didn't stop. He urgently pulled off your suit jacket. You gasped loudly as he attacked your neck. Leaving trace of kisses along your collarbone. You held onto his tighter, hands scratching his back. One of your hand went on the desk for more support.

"Namjoon.." you moaned. He went back to kissing you, as if he'd been wanting for you to do something. You felt hot, and dizzy. Namjoon noticed and pulled back.

"I'm not apologizing for that. I've been wanting to do that for so long." Namjoon smirked. "And when we're married, I'll do so much more." he winked before heading to the other table already stacked with his own work from Makoto. You blushed, obviously. But the one thing you admire about Namjoon was his chivalry and old school respect. He's waiting until marriage to move further into the relationship.

After straightening up yourself and your outfit, you finally sat down and grabbed the first report. Your eyes scanned the words, taking in every details and taking notes in another notebook. Then you would write your final thoughts. This process repeated for hours, your eyes were getting teary, but you wanted to be done with the first pile at least. You closed your eyes for a second to rest, and looked for Namjoon when they opened again. But he wasn't at the table, and his stuff were no longer there. You wanted to go look for him, but then again, he's a grown man, he could take care of himself.

Just then, you heard some loud crash from the window right behind you. It was close, so it meant the sound was really loud, like something falling, followed by some cursings. You hesitated between calling Hoseok to check for you or just doing it yourself. But you opened it anyways. Night had already fallen and the lanterns outside were lit. Behind your office was a small garden. Bushes of roses lined the walls, there's a giant tree in one corner, and a swing underneath it. A dark figure moved through the garden. He had some sort cylindrical object in one arm and a basket in another. He looked lost and confused.

"Um, love, are you okay?" you asked. He jumped a little, maybe not expecting the window to be there.

"Oh, yeah. Um, please don't mind me. Go back to work. Go, go." he shooed. So you did, closing the windows to give him privacy. He's a dork. You went back to working, and occasionally, you would hear him talking to himself as he does to work through his thoughts. And then there was a knock on the window, it made you jump and dropped your pen. When you opened it window, you were greeted by his beautiful, smiling face.

"Hello, again." you chuckled.

"My Princess, would you do me an honor of accompanying me on a small date?" he asked, beaming.

"But, the reports..." you said, looking back at the piles on your desk.

"My love, you've been working hard all day. You didn't even eat lunch. You need a break. It hurts when I see you like this." he said in a quiet voice. His hand went to cup a side of your face.

"Alright. Let me go the other way."

"No, you can come out this way. I'll catch you." Namjoon suggested. You considered it, the window wasn't high and you would just need the chair to push yourself up and over. So that's what you did. But your foot got caught on the ledge and you tumbled forward, body crashing into Namjoon. He happily caught you but the momentum continued and you both fell on to the grass.

"Catch me, huh?" you asked, propping up on top of his chest. He rolled his eyes and pulled your head up to kiss him. After getting up from the ground, he showed you to what he was working on. The sight made you almost cry. "You did all of this?" you asked. The cylindrical object turned out to be a telescope. There was a picnic blanket underneath with food already set up.

"Of course, my Princess. You need a break and I wanna spend time with you." He helped you sit down and began feeding you some food he had asked the kitchen to prepare. It tasted better because he's here.

"I didn't even noticed you leaving." you said.

He faked a cried. "That's because you don't love me enough."

"Aish, pabo. So dramatic." You pinched his cheeks and he let out a giant grin. "I love you most, remember." He nodded, then went to adjust the telescope. After being satisfied with the sight, he told you to look. The moon was full, you saw clearly the milky color along with craters, they reminded you of Namjoon's and Hoseok's dimples. It made you smile.

"It's so beautiful, isn't it?" you asked, still staring at the moon.

"Yeah, beautiful." Namjoon said quietly, looking at the woman he's about to marry in awe.
