The morning came, you smiled in delight as you leaped out of bed and skipped to the bathroom to wash your face. Once you were fully dressed, the boys were waiting for you at the table, rope and duct tapes on their hands. Even Seokjin ditched his glasses and was in his most comfortable outfit.

"Guys, when I said tie him up, I didn't mean it literally." you said.

"I don't know what other way you could have meant it, your Highness." Seokjin commented, snapping the rope tightly in his hands. You gulped, feeling fear for Namjoon already. After the rendezvous last night, you both parted towards your rooms. The boys were of course worried sick about you, and they were even more pissed when you told them about Namjoon. Yoongi even said he would ship him back to Korea if he has to.

"That's right, we're just gonna have a civilized talk with him." Hoseok said innocently. His smile was wide and brighter than the sun as he practiced his kicks.

"Besides, aren't you mad at him, Y/N?" Yoongi asked.

You thought about it carefully, you would have said yes right away. But considering the changes Namjoon went through, you could understand, because that's what you would do for him too. "I was. But he's here now, and I can't let anger blind me. I deserve happiness, right?"

The boys looked at you, a smile on their faces. They seemed relieved. It was the first time in a long time that you had that sparkle in your eyes, of hope. There was a knock on the door, Seokjin tensed and his grip on the rope tightened. He marched towards the door.

"Oppa! What are you doing?" He ignored your question and opened the door. Namjoon looked shock but had no time to process as Seokjin quickly wrapped him up and Hoseok was behind him, ready with the tape. You did nothing but watched the event unfold. You did stop Yoongi from trying to knock Namjoon out with a frying pan, which you had no idea where it came from.

After successfully tying Namjoon up and taping his mouth, the boys carried him over to sit on the chair right in front of you. Namjoon didn't fight back, he was actually laughing along with you. Just then, Yoongi stalked over and ripped the tape off of his mouth. You heard the sound echoing throughout the room, it took exactly 5 seconds for Namjoon to react to the pain and cried out. His mouth was completely red and his eyes were teary. Your heart dropped at the sight.

"What was the point of taping his mouth when you were just gonna rip it off?" you yelled at Yoongi, who shrugged his shoulder but at the same time, showed signs of regret. He patted Namjoon and the shoulder and fed him some dim sum. Namjoon gladly accepted, still feeling uneasy. "Please untie him." you begged. Seokjin shook his head.

"He might run away again, and for longer than 3 years this time." he said. You looked at him, it seemed more personal than anything. It made sense, they knew each other for half of their lives, Seokjin must have felt a part of him was lost, just like you. And it was the same with the other boys, maybe Yoongi more than Hoseok, but they were all missing each other. Namjoon could sense it too, and he nodded for you to slowly walk away.

"Hyungs." he said, addressing all the boys. "I owe you an apology. I am so sorry for leaving and not saying anything. I have no excuses for it. I was a fool, and I was a coward. Please hit me if you want."

"Please don't." you whispered from behind. But no one could hear you. So you watched as Seokjin raises a hand and slammed hard on Namjoon's shoulder. Then Seokjin knelt down and hug the tied up man. Yoongi couldn't hide a sniffle and joined the group hug too. Hoseok glanced at you, giving an unsure look. Hug him, you mouthed, which he did. The four guys embraced each other for about 10 minutes, all crying. Seokjin was pouring out his anger to Namjoon and Yoongi made some threats, typical Yoongi. Hoseok then untied Namjoon and they had a proper hug for another 10 minutes. You ate breakfast while watching them.

"But more than that, I owe you an entire lifetime of gratitude." Namjoon said as they pulled away from each other, they were in a circle, all facing each other. "Thank you for taking care of Y/N all these years and keeping her safe and healthy. I'm so grateful for all of you, for still being by her side for my sake."

"I wouldn't say it was for your sake, really." Hoseok whistled. "Y/N built me a pool."

"I did not build you a pool. It's for the children who come and visit." you commented.

"Whatever you say, Princess." he laughed.

"Yah, Y/N, you ate everything!" Yoongi groaned. You shrugged and giggled.

"You snooze you lose buddy." you said, eating the last piece of food. While Seokjin went to get some more food, Namjoon had asked you to take a walk with him. The morning was bright and warm, so you didn't need a jacket. He led you to a spot with plenty of shades.

"I'm glad that's over with." he said first. His wrists were still red from the rope. You'll have to scold the boys later for being too harsh. You took his hand in yours and kissed them. He watched with longing eyes. But then you dropped them instantly, your blood beginning to boil. He felt you fuming and scooted away on the bench. "Oh boy." he whispered.

"Kim Namjoon, I can't fucken believe you left me for three years and had an alias to talk to me because you were too scared to do it yourself! And you told me to forget you knowing full well I could never ever do that, so it was pointless anyways! Do you know how sad I was that morning when you were gone? Do you know how miserable I felt when you didn't come back and I didn't even know if you were alive or not? It was so awful that I couldn't even talk to anyone about it because I had to put the country first, I go to meeting with a smile on my face so that we could get things done. And I watch all the people around me find love and I felt so alone in a palace filled with people."

"Y/N-"

"No, let me finish. But you disappearing taught me plenty of things. I was independent, headstrong, stubborn, I didn't let those damn old school officials run my life the way they did yours. Our government is changing and I'm moving them towards a more progressive lead. So in a way, I'm thankful for that. I've always wanted to do something good for the world, and I think I have. I don't know what else to say. I think I am more happy with seeing you than I am mad."

"That's good to hear." he smiled. "But we still haven't talked about the elephant in the room though."

"What is it?"

"I love you, I love you, I love you." he whispered into your ear. It made you giggle like a schoolgirl and you leaned your head on his shoulder. "I'm here and I'll always be by your side, if you'll let me. I've become a man worthy to be by your side."
"I love you too. But you were worthy before too, but I'm glad you've learned more self-respect for yourself. I'll always want you by my side. But I'm still mad at you."

"Of course, my Princess." He lifted your chin up to meet his gaze. "Now, kiss me."
